The room is sooo tiny. I'm a petite woman but I still feel it's too small for one person. If you don't smoke don't forget book the smoking free room type. I didn't notice that when I booked online and I'm glad they changed for me though. Japanese breakfast and free breakfast is the plus. And the location is awesome. It takes 5mins to walk to Ohori park. All is said and done, if you have limited budget to find a good hotel with good amenities, you can book this one.

Don’t think I can recommend the place. The space is too tight, the tenants are very loud all night and morning, the locker space is too small because they installed the bed above, you have to crouch below. If you don’t care of any comfort - you may stay. But there are better options in Fukuoka.

Great bargain for a hotel for people who just need to catch some sleep in between busy days. You have to do practically everything yourself, but for the price it’s a deal. One great surprise was there was a washing machine. Of course you have to know a bit of Japanese to use it (Google translate), but I was able to even do a quick wash of yesterday’s sweaty clothes. You get your typical toothbrush, comb, towels, and robes. Room was clean and tidy. Shower was clean and expectedly small. I’d definitely stay again.

This is the third WeBase I've stayed at. Take the subway from Hakata Station for two stops to Nakasu-Kawabata Station, exit 7, and walk for five minutes. There is a striking big cat at the door. There are about 30 beds in the multi-person mixed room. The public area is very clean. The public bathroom is on the second floor, and there is a separate bathroom for girls. The ninth floor is the breakfast and public space. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. There is space for luggage storage and self-service coin-operated laundry on the first floor.
Good location, high cost performance, clean, and the service staff are from all over the world and are very enthusiastic.

The hotel is not far from Nakasu, we can walk there, and other places mostly traveled by bus. The location is not bad, quite calm and easy to find. The staffs are nice. You can have all amenities by picking up by yourself and I like it! So the overall, we're happy to stay here.

Overall stay was okay though personally felt it was too pricey considering the small size of the room and the amenities offered. Rate was too high probably because it was a long weekend holiday in Japan. Location is good as it’s near Hakata Station. Staff were courteous and kind and even allowed packed breakfast since we were leaving for a tour.
However, lighting was poor as the room lights were too dim. Room was too small that we could barely open 2 medium-sized luggages.

This hotel is well located - 2 mins walk from subway and many famous restaurants nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Bad side is the building - wall is too thin that we could hear our neighbours talking even it was at the midnight.

the first pod assigned to me seems dusty and i got too itchy to sleep so i asked to be moved to another pod, i dont recommend this type of accomodation for light sleepers as you will hear little noises like rolling up of curtains etc from the neighbors throughout the night.

I think the environment and atmosphere of this hostel is very nice. The bed is comfortable enough to sleep and the shared space is very clean when enquieped with heater and microwaves. Also the self service of check in and out is very convenient for me. I would come again.
Conclusion first: Recommended to stay ☝🏻
First of all, the host responded quickly. There is an electronic lock outside the door. It will light up when you click it first. If you enter the wrong number, it is recommended to wait for it to go out before entering again (it seems there is no delete key, please take your time.
Using Google Map is not very accurate, especially at night when the road is quite dark and the buildings are hard to see clearly. Anyway, when you see 711, turn in and the house is on the right. The building with lots of bicycles in the basement is the right one.
The house is similar to the pictures, fully equipped with disposable toothbrush bags (but I didn't use them since I brought my own), hair dryers and other things. The TV is watchable, not the kind that requires you to rent a DVD. It's a very clean place.
The bed is very comfortable, and the pillow is not the soft kind, which I like~ There is no noise around at night, and it is completely no problem to rest 👌🏻 Both beds have sockets, and there is another mop on the ground to the right of the microwave, which is very convenient for charging.
It is early spring now and the blanket alone is warm enough, so I can’t comment on the air conditioning without using it.
There is a washing machine on the terrace for drying clothes, and there are plenty of hangers in the closet so there won’t be enough. There are also clips for socks and the like on the terrace.
The toilet and bathroom are separated, the toilet is on the left and the bathroom is on the right. The toilet is a little narrow, but it is clean and smells good. The toilet seat is heated and warm. The toilet paper is the thickest I have ever used in Japan. Although it is still relatively thin, I guess it is one of the thickest in Japan🥺This is great. My favorite thing in the whole house is actually the toilet, although it is a bit narrow.
There is a kitchen and a microwave, as well as detergent and other supplies. It is also convenient to cook at aeon MaxValu nearby.
There is a 7-Eleven on the left when you go out, and there is also a Lawson at JR Minami-Fukuoka Station. If you go to Nishitetsu Zaxiangkuma Station, there will be two 711s along the way.
The transportation is generally convenient, and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the above two stations. However, they are all straight roads and not difficult to walk on. Considering the housing prices, this distance is quite reasonable. If you take the JR sub rapid train, it only takes 5 minutes from Minami-Fukuoka to Hakata. The regular train takes about 12 minutes. You can take the Nishitetsu to Nishitetsu Tenjin Station, and you can also take the Nishitetsu directly to Dazaifu.
If you have large luggage, please be aware that some roads are narrow.
The following are the shortcomings: On the first night, I saw a very big cockroach in the toilet. It was scary. The host said that generally there are more mosquitoes and cockroaches are rare. We flushed the toilet and didn't see the second one afterwards so it must have been an accident.
There is no curtain in the bathroom, so the floor will get wet. Remember to put your slippers outside the door. The ventilation is slow and the water on the ground will not dry up even the next day.
In the next two days, mosquitoes were indeed quite common as the host said. They were big and had long legs and were easy to kill. 😂 Considering that there are mosquitoes in winter, there should be more in summer. If you don't open the terrace door unless necessary, it shouldn't be a big problem.

MMomeliFirst, the staff service is excellent, always greet you with a smile and accommodating. Second, the hostel is well maintained and clean, and the pillow, blanket, and bed are good quality. Common areas like the lounge, shower, and toilet are functional and clean. Third, the location is close to the bus station, a 3-minute walk, and 10-15 minutes to Hakata station. I love that they have options for female and male-only dormitories and mixed—an excellent price for what you get. I highly recommend Hostel Toki and will visit again when I travel to Fukuoka.

DDCLeongThe location is near Hakata Station, within 7 minutes walk. At night you can have a lot of choices for Izakaya dining. My photo shows one of the Izakaya we visited for delicious chicken skin skewers. The room was small like a normal Japanese hotel. Upon arriving, you can collect all the amenities beside the lift. The laundry and coffee machine is next to the lift also. Can have fresh hot coffee or tea anytime. The service is appropriate.

GGuest UserThe main part of the hotel has two floors. The first floor is the check-in front desk (where luggage is also stored) and the dining area (you can only eat on the first floor). The second floor is the sleeping cabin and washing area. In addition, the public space is a place where you need to order and consume. There is a bar table and chair area where you can sit.
First of all, this hotel is not suitable for foreign travelers because suitcases must be stored on the first floor. It will be very troublesome if you forget to take them on the second floor. Moreover, the personal storage boxes on the second floor are also very small and can only hold things such as coat and shoe storage bags.
The hotel's circulation arrangement is not very reasonable. After the elevator on the first floor reaches the second floor, you must first change into slippers when entering the rest area, and then store items in the lockers. There are two doors next to it, one is the sleeping cabin area and the other is the bathroom. Especially It's easy to go wrong.
Personally, I think it is suitable to be held within Japan and not suitable for foreigners to travel (if you have very little luggage, I didn’t say so)

GGuest UserNo problems at all during self check-in & out. Very good location with public transportation, local restaurants (tasty!) and convenient store around. Clean and spacious room in Japanese standard. However, the room layout and facilities are not that reasonable:
- two fridges in the room - you have to sleep next to one fridge if sleeping on the extra bed
- again, if sleeping on the extra bed, you have to move out all things from that area
- no space for luggage to be open all the time. i have to place them near the entrance
- good to have a washing machine. but no space and not enough hangers to hang up the wet clothes
Bbank_fiorHotel stay between subway akasaka and ohori park by walk 5-7min and bus stop near too.
Behind the hotel have 7/11 and toyota rent a car ,easy to return a car.
The room is ok and around is quietly, , for woman can you borrow hairdryer at front or staff ,On the morning have breakfast coffee, crouissant , egg and 2 soups.
From hotel to airport by taxi around 10-15 mins amount 2,300-2,500 yen.
GGuest UserIt was nice to be able to experience a traditional Japanese house, and the location was close to the subway and there were many delicious restaurants nearby, which was nice. I was grateful that the owner, the grandfather, explained everything so enthusiastically.
SSALTYICEThe room is quite far from Ohori park station, but not long walk. About 10 minutes chilling Yes, but it is recommended that the room is quite small, we stay for 3 people, there is a 29-inch open space for luggage, not enough. More suitable for staying no more than 2 people. But the convenience equipment is complete. Hardly need to bring anything more. The room is on the 2nd floor. The stairs to go up are quite narrow, but there are many steps of wood. The shower room is narrow. The toilet is narrow, the big people are not suitable.
