Even though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom also had a slightly musty smell. The facilities were decent, and the breakfast menu was good. It's also very close to Yakuin Station, so the location is great.

The hotel was very clean, not as dirty as some Google reviews suggest. Fukuoka's main tourist areas and the airport are just a few subway stops away. While not as convenient as staying directly in Tenjin or Hakata, the price is excellent for the price. Like many Japanese hotels, the hotel has narrow aisles, but I think it's slightly wider than other hotels I've stayed in Nagoya and elsewhere. The entrance also has a full-length mirror, which is very convenient and appreciated. Luggage can be stored before check-in on the first day and after check-out on the last day. They were very friendly even though I didn't speak Japanese. There's a luggage scale in the lobby, and the water dispenser seems to be only on the first floor; you have to go downstairs to refill it.
