S-Peria Hotel Hakata

The hotel is very close to Hakata Station, just a 2-minute walk from Hotel Nikko, which makes it extremely convenient. Both Canal City and Hakata Station are within walking distance for shopping, and there's an old neighborhood nearby to hang out in. The commercial facilities downstairs are also very comprehensive—everything you need is right there. The room size is very typical of a Japanese local hotel chain, making maximum use of the space. However, because the bathroom features a wet-and-dry separation with an exceptionally spacious shower area—almost rivaling the size of the sleeping area (just kidding)—the sink is placed outside. This makes the room feel a bit cramped, but fortunately, standard amenities like a fridge and a clothes dryer are all included. Plus, this room type comes with a small sofa and a small table, which is quite nice for bringing back some takeout and drinks.

The location is great, just a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station (Hakata-guchi exit). There are also convenience stores nearby. It's a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area. Facilities: Although the room is small, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, which is a nice surprise. It's clearly a new hotel, and the shower space is very comfortable. Service: It's decent, and they offer a welcome drink. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a self-service laundry room, so I had to wash my clothes by hand!

The location is super convenient! I walked between Hakata Station and Canal City every day. There's also a small bus stop right behind the hotel, making it easy to get anywhere by bus – it was the most I've ever taken the bus on my first trip to Japan. The front desk provided bath salts for soaking every day, which was a lifesaver for my tired feet after all the shopping!

Stayed for two nights. The hotel is conveniently located with many shopping malls nearby, making shopping and dining very easy. Overall, it felt clean and quiet, and the staff were polite. There was a good variety of breakfast options, though the area was a bit crowded. The hotel's location is excellent for transportation. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
