Nice little photo spots around inside hostel (heater nearby), experience corner allows you to try Kimono (free to try inside hostel, chargeable if you want to wear out), and do some little craft. They sell handmade stuff too. There’s a normal kitchen table you can use, and little lockers (with key) if you want to deposit small items near the reception. Washer and dryer are each available for use at a fixed charge (300 yen each, Jan 2025). Japanese style bath house available. Last photo shows the 5 steps to lay the bedding in the room. Decent space and aircon is warm enough for winter period; though there’s no floor heating, they have a table with cloth around that you can use to keep your feet warm. Amenities is 4/5 because they don’t allow you to use the shower for free after check out, but they still allow the use of kitchen, and toilet after check out. Luggage deposit before check in and after check out is free as of Jan 2025.

Our stay at Wafu Guesthouse Kashiwaya was fantastic! The complimentary snacks and beverages in the lobby created a welcoming atmosphere, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time. After checkout, we appreciated the option to store our luggage and explore the area without hassle. The location is ideal, just minutes from a popular Lawson store that offers stunning views of Mount Fuji, perfect for Instagram photos. Overall, we had a memorable experience and highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone visiting Fujikawaguchiko.

Amazing decorations and atmosphere, the entire guesthouse is like a museum

Take's room delighted us with its view of Fuji! It was amazing. Everything is very well organized and convenient (toilet on the floor, shower on the first floor, there is a kitchen and it was possible to cook delicious food for yourself). Thanks to the hotel staff, they were very attentive!

The view and location are great, the staff are friendly, and there are so many surprises during the stay (including breakfast, hehe) ☺️ I will stay with friends next time

The hotel is close to Kawaguchiko Station and is conveniently located for planning your trip. The inn is clean and comfortable, Japanese family-style tatami accommodation experience, and Mount Fuji is visible from the room window. Breakfast is very simple, but due to the price, I believe people who book a room can understand, can not ask for too much, there is a need to supplement their own food for breakfast. There are no separate bathrooms and toilets, soundproofing is relatively poor, and the room can hear the carriage and people going out in other rooms.

It was a great experience. The location is excellent. It is very close to Kawaguchiko Station and can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Facilities: Complete facilities, everything is available. The store is nice and easy to find near the station. They serve simple breakfast in a home-style setting. The soundproofing is not very good. Neighbors will know when they open the door to go to the bathroom at night. Others are fine. It’s always family-style and not too demanding. satisfy.
