We had an amazing time at the Franconia Inn! It is tucked away and serene but very close to everything the White Mountains have to offer. The Inn itself is super cozy and we had a great time with food and the open mic in the pub downstairs. The staff is amazing and welcoming, and they really made sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. I'd love to come back here again!

The Franconia Inn is a quintessential NH experience. The location is perfect for accessing all summer and winter activities that the mountains have to offer. Surprisingly, the main road it sits on sees very little traffic which makes it quiet and yet easily accessible. If you are into horses, glider planes, bike riding or cross country skiing you can do that from your front door. The inn offers comfortable rooms but don’t expect anything fancy. Many of them need upgrades or updates. The breakfast is on par with a nice Marriott courtyard. However the downstairs bar and restaurant are excellent. Great craft cocktails and locally sourced food. Highly recommend. There is a pool and hot tub surrounded by nice casual spots to hang out. The staff is friendly and the customer service is fantastic. I have stayed many times and will go back again #rusticandcharming

Another wonderful annual visit. Such friendly, helpful staff. We so appreciate… the enormous back screened porch for hanging out, excellent dinner (we dream of another strawberry shortcake) , and accessibility for family members with canes and rollator (we request first floor rooms). It is our home away from home for senior family members and younger ones who enjoy the tremendous White Mountain hiking. Already discussing plans for next summer!

We loved the Franconia Inn! It has the feel of an old school inn, with a few upscale amenities was very clean. Lots of little nooks to sit in and read a book or play a board game from their library. We enjoyed the pub and old school game room in the basement. The pool was very nice, refreshing and clean. The rooms may not have everything you need but they do at the front desk. Just ask. The dining room was very nice. We played tennis and pickleball on their clay court located directly across the street. The stables at the property were nice. We went on a 1 hour ride across the river and everyone was super friendly and helpful; as they were in the entire inn! Lots of pros for sure. If I had to find something to “nitpick”, I’d say although the rooms do have AC, they are window units and don’t get super cold. They do work fine though. The Parking lot for the Inn is directly across the street. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The entire experience was perfect! The young woman who checked us in was wonderful. She told us the room was ready early. The room was lovely, beautiful king with a nostalgic bedspread. We both slept through the night on the comfortable bed. Bureau, closets, night stands were all perfect! The bathroom was also quite nice. My husband enjoyed the pool and I read on the large, screened porch. We ate an early dinner in the pub. The service was fantastic, Karen was very accommodating when I asked lots of questions. We had the sirloin and the salmon and the meals were great. Very reasonably priced and the meals included vegetables and rice/potato. The continental breakfast was just right - low key and everything was fresh! Lots is cute, comfy, cozy places throughout Inn to read, play games or relax. Just a one night stay and we are locals - it was completely idyllic! We highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Very cozy inn with exceptional employees. The continental breakfast was very good with a great selection of breakfast items including fruit, cereal, baked goods, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, assorted juices and coffee. My room was very clean and comfortable.

The Franconia Inn is a very quaint and cozy place to stay for a ski trip at Cannon! Clean, beautifully decorated and a nice included breakfast. Also a pub where we enjoyed an open mic night. Friendly staff at this historic inn. Less than 10 minutes to Cannon.
