We stayed here for 4 nights and my husband is Platinum Elite. We paid cash. The pool area was gross, very obviously not cleaned daily as hair and garbage would be there day after day. Our phone didn’t work in our room and was never fixed. One day when my baby was napping I had a do not disturb sign on the door and maintenance entered. I screamed at them. I was very upset. I contacted the front desk and they were rude about it. I was not offered any refund for our experience. The day we checked in there was a woman who was too busy smoking outside to help us with a key or pack n play. We kept trying to call down stairs but no one answered. My husband had to go find her.

We went on a family vacation here and the rooms were very nice as was the view from the atico restaurant. We had great treatment form Laquandera Brown the front desk supervisor and Amanda. We are Marriott members so they gave us a small bag with chips and water on check in. The only area for improvement is the fact that they charge you to park in an adjacent parking lot but much was withiin walking distance.

Came in town for a family reunion this past weekend July 19-21 and front desk staff barely made eye contact and barely greeted or spoke, which is fine, a bit impersonal but ok. My issue came when my elderly mother asked the housekeeper for extra towels and she had an attitude giving extra towels. The housekeeper went on to say she already put some in the room, which was the point because we knew there were already some in there but wanted EXTRA. That same day my room hadn't been cleaned so I saw the housekeeper and politely asked the housekeeper to clean my room when she got a chance. She came down and just offered to give me some towels, I asked her if she could clean the room and she couldn't speak any english but spoke her response into her phone and said no they only clean every 2 days, which I never heard of, especially if you request it. I ended up calling the front desk and talked to them and she ended up going ahead and cleaning the room, bathroom and changing the beds. The next day the housekeeping was outside my door and I asked for a room clean and they told me since my room was cleaned the previous day she could only get new towels, and I had to bring the dirty towels to them. As I was walking down the hall I was talking to myself and said they don't even clean the rooms and what I assume was the housekeeping supervisor who was with the housekeeping came over and confronted me aggressively saying ”what did you say”. So I told her that you don't clean the rooms everyday, and she said I told you I can take your towels and trash, and I told her you told me about the towels but not the trash and she tried to debate and argue with me, which I have never encountered with a housekeeping staff EVER. Turns out several other family members had similar complaints about the front desk and housekeeping. I have never experienced housekeeping in any hotel around the country with the type of customer service and general service as the SPRINGHILL SUITES DALLAS DFW AIRPORT SOUTH/CENTREPORT staff, and seemed like this treatment was more specific to the black guest. I would never give another dime to Springhill Suites again, especially if you're an african american.

This hotel is currently undergoing renovation. Most of the pictures do not correspond to what I observed. The breakfast was ok and is currently being served in a conference room. The room, despite having been recently renovated, was sub-par. The shower door did not close properly. There was animal hair all over the couch. They do not make your room up every day. Despite making a reservation for 4, they only gave us towels for two. That said, it was easy to access the highway and other places we needed to get to. We got a decent price and I cannot complain too much. We did hear construction noise during daylight hours, but it was not overwhelming.
