The lodge was very comfortable and incredibly well-stocked! We wish we could have stayed longer. We had to check in after-hours and were given a code, but unfortunately, there was someone in our lodge. She said she couldn't remember which one she was supposed to be in and her code worked. Our codes were only one digit off from each other's. There were beverages in the one we were assigned to that they had opened, but there were none in the other lodge. It all felt a little uncomfortable. After we waited and had those people move out and swap used towels, etc., the stay was very nice. The view was lovely with the seating area on the deck, and the traffic on the road between the lodge and the water was not bad. We slept so well! There were books and puzzles and cookies, even! It was VERY warm when we were there, and there is no a/c or screens on the windows, but we did fine after the sun went behind the hill. There are heated floors which would be nice in cooler weather! I would stay again if we were back in the area, but I would try to not need after hours check in.
