Would not stay here again. The hotel, is completely in a run down condition. On first arrival noticed a sign on the entrance door, stating they had won a Scottish award for Excellence in 2008. So asked for a room change. Was then allocated room 20, which had good views, however the overall room, again was of a poor standard. Clearly again (DIY) maintenance carried out. Food and drinksDue to the general poor condition of the hotel and rooms, decided not to eat there. As felt it would be of the same poor standard. Noteworthy detailsNone.

Do Not Flush Toilet Paper?
The view was wonderful, room clean, and bed comfortable. The place is a bit run down, which is not a big deal to us. But, there was no wifi and, more importantly, there was a sign in the bathroom saying DO NOT FLUSH TOILET PAPER and asking that it be placed in a specially-provided closed trash can.

Strange hotel, if I was just rating on view, price, room, etc, it would be a 5 out of 5...... Quirky guess would be best description King-sized mattress on a double base! Lovely bathroom, but the bath had no taps. You could only fill the bath using the shower! Extremely overpowering plug-in air freshener, but at least you could turn it off. That said, it was a lovely room with views over the loch. Reasonably priced, given the setting. Plenty of parking and staff were friendly. We would have considered having dinner but could find no menu online, in the room, or in reception. I appreciate we could have asked for one, but we are a bit "price sensitive," so it could have been a little embarrassing 😳

the shower in the bathroom was badly fitted and fell apart when trying to move the shower head .the room was dusty and needed a good clean.as we were only using the room for sleeping the standard was acceptable but could be improved

Flink verouderd hotel, maar prachtig uitzicht
Prachtig uitzicht uit de kamer. Het bed lag prima en het personeel dat wij hebben gezien was erg vriendelijk. Dit zijn wel de hoogtepunten. Het hotel is helaas flink verouderd en heeft ernstige behoefte aan vernieuwing. De wc spoelde niet goed door, de kraan was kapot, het gehele hotel kraakt waar je ook loopt. Het was helaas flink gehorig en lijkt niet goed schoon. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding ligt helaas niet goed. Je betaalt teveel voor wat je krijgt.
