We were rather late in booking a room Friday to Sunday, last days of Scottish 6 Day Trial. So obvious the prices were higher, but their prices were ridiculously high. Over £400. But latecomers have to take what is available. Our four star Hotels, we had during the previous few days , were of a similar price, but at least, we got a good breakfast included. And it was quiet!! This brings me to the main point. If you want to book an accessible room because they have two beds, made into one, do NOT accept room 201. First, this room is by the floor entrance door, so the shutting of this door is loud. Second, the room is right next to a machine, which has a loud humming sound, which goes into the mattress, and this magnifies the sound. Even earplugs don't help. No sunshine, ever, comes into this room. The room is extremely basic, very little room to hang up clothing, you basically live out of the suitcase on the floor, one easy chair, plus one small desk with kettle and cups and one chair. The TV is approx 21 inch in size. This room should not be rented out, due to the very annoying noises

The customer service from the staff I encountered both when calling in advance of my stay and on checking out early was excellent. I wish I caught the name of the man who dealt with my call and my checkout but I didn't. He was professional but friendly and more importantly, he responded to my queries immediately with kindness and manners. At no point was I made to feel like I was being an awkward customer even though, strictly speaking, I probably was! The staff had a very helpful attitude and that goes a very long way to making somebody's stay much more comfortable. For me, the staff made a difficult situation (outwith the accommodation) so much easier by being so understanding and helpful. Five stars for customer service alone, thank you.

I just been ripped off by Travelodge booking our stay in September 2024 thinking an early booking would be a good deal. I have paid £25 more than if I booked it today. Really disappointed as we use Travelodge a lot as they are pet friendly. We are doing the West Highland Way and they refuse the baggage transfer companies to drop off your bag when all the other places we stayed at welcome and are keen to support walkers. The West Highland Way even finishes on their doorstep.

We had a group booking for 30 plus people, who were attempting the 3 Peaks at Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike then Sowdon. We needed to print the list of names and Stephen the manager helped us out with that, nothing was to much trouble for him, thank you.

Handy if parking is available - which it was. Windows that opened, everything we needed. Would not hesitate to use again.

I didn't plan on staying here, I booked Ben Nevis hotel leisure club, when we arrived the bed was so uncomfortable and the hotel was awful so we looked for a quick solution as it was our anniversary and my birthday, we found the travel lodge as a quick fix and I wasn't expecting how good it was, the views were amazing and the hotel staff were so nice, special shout out to Stephen who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great, if you're looking for a hotel when visiting the area or to climb Nevis. THIS hotel is the one for you. So grateful, you made our week thank you so much

Clean hotel, room small but functional- other guests spoiled it with being inconsiderate about noise in the middle of the night.

Situated right in the heart of the town, this hotel is basic but clean. Location is excellent and there is free parking for residents. Room and bathroom are large. The staff I spoke to were very good - Ally in particular was excellent and very helpful.
