Linnhe Lochside Holidays

Stayed here for 2 nights. When we arrived we were told to pitch wherever, there was no set place for each tent. Not crazy abnormal, but it was just a hectic free for all. Campers just dumping their cars and blocking others in, way too many people in one camping area; as if they were accepting too many campers at one time without thinking of logistics, not everyone has the same size tent for example. Staff were really friendly and helpful the times we needed assistance. Gave us really helpful tips for viewing the train & viaduct, which is the main reason we stayed here. Avoid. The. Women’s. Showers. At. All. Costs! They were vile. My boyfriend says his shower block was a typical campsite block, clean and useable. But the women’s was disgusting. Mould growing up the walls, hair covering every surface, water everywhere with no equipment to clean it up/remove the excess water, sanitary towels (both used and unused) all over the floor, rubbish everywhere. It was just a joke. I couldn’t stomach being in there. Unfortunately we were out and about hiking, so we never got to address this unfortunate problem with staff as we weren’t there when their operating hours were. We upped and left super early on our checkout day so we could just get out of there. It’s a beautiful location with so much promise, but just not managed efficiently. Decided we won’t be coming back here unfortunately.

been going for 10 years booked a end caravan 8 hour trip from home arrived at site at 5.45 at night went to reception found key went into caravan caravan was not in the position where had booked went inside 3 large stains on seats did not smell clean office had closed not happy phoned warden who phoned manager to come back was offered another caravan in the middle and also another one which was a better model but they wonted another 150 pounds more checked out the other caravan but it smelt un clean was was very upset and just wonted to go back home to our clean house told manager we where not happy who just said we could have a refund knowing we had travelled for 8 hours she just said sorry and by this time it was 7.45 so we could not find any where else to stay had to drive another 8 hours back home got home at 3 am in the morning had told many friends about this site who have been many times sorry to say not any more been looking forward to this holiday ruined also had booked time off from work never had this experience before

Just had a week staying in one of the deluxe caravans over looking the loch absolutely stunning views of the loch. Caravan was very clean and well equipped. Good power on the shower. We had a small issue on arrival but it was dealt with immediately. Fridge freezer and cooker were immaculate a must for me. Theres a coop down the road for supplies but we found it wasn’t very well stocked. 5 mins away in the car there’s an M&S food hall and an Aldi would definitely recommend this park. We plan on returning next year.

Me and a friend stayed here for 4 nights. The location is beautiful and peaceful. It is about 15 mins out of Fort William, so having a car is recommended. The caravan itself was clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Easter weekend camping non electric. After a long drive from Lancashire but a very beautiful drive we arrived at very easily at the park. Easy checking in, could pitch in any area highlighted on map. We choose one by the loch eli with beautiful views,not too far from toilet block and very close to water tap. Very spacious pitches. Clean showers and toilets a very picturesque site, closet town is fort william a short drive away but also a lovely drive up the coast is recommended. Well worth the drive!!

That view!! The chalet was a bit older but we knew that in advance. Beds fine, shower clean, 2 toilets, friendly personal!
