Popular Florianopolis 4-star Hotels

Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay in this beautiful part of Florianopolis. Front desk staff were most welcoming, as was the service at the poolside bar. There is easy access to bars, restaurants and the beach in the area and the apartments are spacious and modern. The gym is also spacious and well-equipped and breakfast most enjoyable and filled with variety. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil environment. Only downside was the wifi connection which was unstable at times.

The city is only one to arrive in Florianópolis and stay in the Majestic Palace, in the Av. Beiramar Norte. The city moves in front of the hotel, the beauty of the blue sea extends in front of it and from the hotel everything happens. In the hotel you all your facilities and around you all what you need, from Beiramar Shopping, balades, restaurants, and because you are very well located, is close to any of the 42 beaches of the fantastic island of Magic. The hotel is super complete, from the Presidential Suite, infinite pool, restaurant, event rooms, and above all a qualified service with a great team of staff who take care of us in the best possible way. I stayed here for 4 days and overall, had a great experience. The hotel is new and had been open for 1 week when I arrived. Check In/out: It was a bit slow as I think they were still getting used to check ins and also because I was from outside the country (credit card processing, passport, etc--I think I was their first guest from the USA). Check out was fast. Room: I booked the ocean front (Luxo Frente Mar). The room that i originally checked into had a strange odor (sewage like). I called downstairs and they moved me immediately to another room. Amenities were really nice, and air conditioning worked perfectly. Very important when you are dealing with the hot sun of Floripa. Dining/Breakfast: TOP NOTCH. Amazing food!! The breakfast was buffet style. The drinks were well proportioned and they had good mixologists making them. I forgot the Manager's name (wore glasses) but he was very professional and helpful, especially with food allergies and dietary restrictions. Concierge/Front Desk: Excellent. Jean really knows the island and has great connections and recommendations. If you need anything, he is the guy that can help. Other: -The hotel has hybrid road bikes for use. This was one of the highlights of the stay because I used the bikes to go all over Florianopolis. They are high quality bikes so it makes for a great leisure (or speed) ride. The island is very safe so I highly recommend it. -There is a pool on the rooftop that is a good place to sunbathe and relax. -The gym has brand new free weights, machines, and treadmills. Overall a great stay! Looking forward to staying again.

In a completely positive way, this stay for two nights was a typical pleasant Novotel experience. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. It was very conveniently located across from the waterfront and easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The room was well-appointed and the bed was comfortable. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. The breakfast was a quality buffet was a good variety of hot and cold foods. I didn't eat in the restaurant for other meals and I didn't use the fitness center due to the proximity of well-marked running trail along the waterfront. All-in-all a solid stay and a good choice for a visit to Florianopolis.

All aspects are very good, very satisfied.

Fui no fim de semana do dia dos pais comemorar meu aniversário e para um show na casa Opus. Tivemos um upgrade de suite, a recepção de uma educação exemolar, alias todos! Da recepção, aos rapazes que buscavam o carro, no restaurante. Viajei muito esse ano e o Faial sem duvida entrou no meu TOP 3. Café da manhã com muitas opções, muitas mesmo! A unica observação é para o produto de limpeza que passaram no quarto, achamos muito forte e nao era um perfume agradavel. Mas nada que atrapalhasse a estadia. Voltaria mais vezes.p

Spent a pleasant 4 night stay in the hotel. The biggest plus is the location of the hotel in city centre and the fact that you are within walking distance to many places of interest. The breakfast offering was pretty standard and tasty. The downside is that the restaurant is closed for dinner, though room service is available and the gym equipment need to be updated. Otherwise adequate for a short stay.

My partner and I stayed here for four nights in March 2022. Overall we enjoyed the resort and may stay again. The resort has a nice fun pool in the centre of the complex along with good bar service. There is also plenty of space for kids to play. If you prefer the beach then there is direct access from the pool area and chairs and umbrellas from the resort and readily available at no extra cost. The staff were very helpful and responded to all our requests. We also received daily housekeeping which post-covid seems to be a luxury. Whilst the resort was very good it could easily have been even better. Our apartment (and others may be different) was in real need of some tender loving care, in particular the bathroom which was old and tatty. We were also provided with a wide range of tea and coffee pots, cups, saucers but nothing to actually make coffee or tea with! And yes, we asked…. The on-site restaurant is good value but not the best place to eat by a long shot. It’s handy being on site and is more than adequate but if you are staying more than a couple of days check out other local places. Finally if you have a need to connect with work or to be online during your stay make sure you have plenty of cellular data as the advertised wifi is truly awful. It frequently failed to connect, dropped the connection and was very slow. In fact it was next to useless. This is a nice place that you feel could be so much better with just a bit of effort.

Chegamos ao hotel por volta de 16h e fomos direcionados ao quarto 229 que estava arrumado e limpo. Porém havia uma carta no quarto em nome de outro hóspede. Contatamos o funcionário do hotel que disse que havia nos alocado no quarto errado. Fomos então direcionados ao 225 ao lado, que no entanto parecia estar em obras, sendo colocado uma tela na saída de ventilação no teto enquanto aguardávamos no corredor. Quase uma hora mais tarde outro hóspede abre a porta do nosso quarto 225 dizendo que havia sido designado para aquele mesmo quarto. O tal hóspede se desculpou (e não tinha culpa mesmo o coitado) desceu à recepção e não recebemos nem justificativa para o erro e nem pedido de desculpas. Meu esposo ao ligar para a recepção perguntando sobre o ocorrido recebeu a simples justificativa de que foi um erro de digitação. Por fim decidimos trocar de hotel no mesmo dia após menos de 3 h de permanência no Intercity e sequer a recepção nos perguntou o motivo do check out precoce e nem se desculpou. Total falta de preocupação com a experiência do cliente. Total despreparo da recepção. Hotel longe do Centro, simples mas novo e bonito, mas com serviço muito a desejar. Uma pena mesmo.

I was a little late in the hotel, I was angry with the reception girl's service, but when I arrived in my room, the girl was cleaned and wasn't quite. She left everything in a small way, which I for a while forgot what had happened before, and I had to go out of business, and I stopped to thank the girl. My day that was all to go wrong changed at that moment with a charming smile and a kind way of receiving me, asking if I needed help, I only thanked and congratulated her, for having changed my day and made him happy. I will never forget that kindness and that kindness of that girl, to feel so well at the point of change, my frustration that I had with the girl at the reception. Thank you for changed my day, and for making my room so cool, you made the difference to me that day, my room was in the first floor. The hotel is in congratulations for having a girl so mega that makes us change, our bad day .... Congratulations for being that light being that changes our day .
