Hotel Sabana is in a great location! The service was great! BUT there is no warm water, feels are as rough as sand paper and the sheets as thin as they can be. Our room specifically had a broken faucet that kept randomly squeaking and we had to play with it several times to make it stop. We were also charged 200 quetzales more than our reservation said.

El servicio de este hotel es pésimo. El staff es increíblemente grosero y maleducado, lo que hace que la experiencia sea muy desagradable desde el inicio. Además, la limpieza es inexistente: los baños están sucios y llenos de insectos, lo mismo ocurre con los cuartos, que no son higiénicos en lo absoluto. Es evidente que no hay cuidado ni atención al cliente. Definitivamente, no recomiendo este lugar.

Disaster. Terrible service from the staff. I’m from Guatemala, and I’m used to the good treatment due to the quality of our people. The employees were extremely rude to us; they didn’t want to give us extra towels when they got dirty, and they did everything reluctantly. They made us feel like a nuisance when their job is literally to provide service. The rooms were extremely dirty. We didn’t expect a 5-star experience, but the hotel is far from being a 4-star one. There were stains on the sheets, they didn’t make the beds, insects in the bathroom, and they didn’t change the towels. I would not recommend it at all; the only good thing was its location

great view and staff
The hotel was in a great location. the views were wonderful. Very lucky to be on the top floor and had amazing views. the restaurant next door was delicious. we didn't get in the pool, but it looked very clean. There are men offering boat rides right behind the hotel and it was very affordable. probably the more affordable ones we encountered compared to the rest of the island. Our driver was Chuy, and he was very knowledgeable. Hotel staff was very friendly. However, the rooms were a little dingy and old. But considering that we didn't spend a lot of time in the rooms and it was such an affordable rate, overall it was a great stay.

Hotel Sabano Flores
This place is a 2 star at best. Light was broken, no hot water, bathroom was poor. No wifi, no purified water even the coffee was bad.
Poor service.
The only redeeming feature was the small pool.
If you can go somewhere else there are plenty of other places with better rates and much better service and rooms.
