The next day, the plane of my son's school curriculum ended and helped him book a hotel for one night. The main reason for choosing this hotel is that it is very close to the apartment of his previous school. About 2-3 It is a minute walk. The hotel is in a good location in the city center and there is an elevator (my son has three suitcases of size) 👍 The service attitude of the staff at the front desk is also very nice. The hotel is a bit old but the hotels in Florence are very old, right?

The Calimala is perfectly situated to all of the sites in Florence. But, more than that, I can't say enough great things about the staff at Calimala. I (don't judge me) decided to drive from Positano to Florence. When I arrived in Florence the streets were so busy and I was lost. I phoned the hotel and was fortunate to speak with Lavinia who stayed on the phone with me and guided me all the way to the hotel. It took quite awhile because of all of the one way streets. Jessica was also extremely helpful in the morning to return the car. She spoke with the taxi driver so, that he knew I would follow him to return the car and assisted with getting the driver and anything else we needed. Stephano was also extremely helpful and courteous. We went to the Angel Restaurant Rooftop each night for drinks and one night for dinner. There George was our ”person”. He ensured we had a seat and took care of our drink orders with professionalism, courtesy, and a sense of humor. Thank you to the entire team at Calimala! I am forever grateful and happy that I chose to stay with you all. I will return and stay again. Warm regards, Beth

I went in September with my mother and 2 sisters. We booked the 4-person studio apartment located around the corner from the hotel. Our taxi driver easily found the apartment and it was just a 15 minute ride from the station. Simona greeted us and gave us a good overview of the area and recommended a place nearby for dinner and offered a discount! She led us to our apartment around the corner from the hotel. Luckily it was located on the first floor so it was easy for my elderly mother. Despite being in the first floor, it was quiet and peaceful to spend the night in. Despite being in an old/historic building, everything seemed to be newly-renovated in the studio! A/C and internet worked great. The kitchenette was well-stocked with everything we could possibly need and there was even a dining room. Despite having a kitchenette, we opted for breakfast at the hotel. The brothers Marco and Gabriele were gracious hosts. Gabriele took our coffee orders and whipped up our coffees perfectly! They had many recommendations for us and how to best spend our time. I booked this place specifically for its central location but was pleased that it also came with such wonderful hosts and staff! There was a public transportation strike on the day we left but the brothers helped us prepare to ensure we would make our train on time. Everyone seemed truly invested in making our trip a great one. I would highly recommend this place!

Absolutely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in Europe. The building has historic roots and one of the frescoes is visible. I was greeted by the wonderful Sebastian, who showed me to my gorgeous room overlooking the Piazza della Signoria. No noise, by the way. The windows are 100% soundproof. Everything was first class: the linens, toiletries, furnishings. The breakfast made you feel like royalty. So much choice and elegance. There is also a full bar and cold drinks for guests. I wish I could have stayed longer. It’s the kind of place that is special. Take note of the address. There is no sign, just the name on the metal buzzer plaque.

Only 10 minutes ride from Florence main train station, wallking distance to major touristic attractions such as the famous Florence Cathedral, (Duomo), Ponte Vecchio or Piazza Signoria. The superior room was beautifully furnished, with clean marble bathroom! Amazing breakfast with fresh fruit, tasty pastries and a big selection of Italian parma ham! I would definitely book Firenze Bernini hotel again!

We found this Palace last year, so this is our second time here. If you can believe it, it just keeps getting better. Love Florence, but now we are using Palazzo as our base to see other cities. Just feels like home. The graciousness, warmth from the moment you walk in. Not to say each room has 20ft ceilings tubs, huge walk-in showers & all amenities you can think of. Gorgeous, exquisite. We also had breakfast every morning and we decided to eat dinner there. the Michelin restaurant was closed so we still ate there in the cafe, my bad sorry we didn't do this sooner. The chef/owner doesn't miss a trick & oversees everything. Introduces himself and is so proud of his restaurant & staff. All this important because when you have trust in your staff and they know it the pride they have shows and their attitude is noted. I suggest anyone visiting Florence, look up this property, it is the best kep secret & I may be sorry for telling you about it.

The room is super large, the roof is very high, the room layout is very beautiful, it is said that the sofa cushion is changed every half a year. The traffic is quite convenient, 10 minutes walk from Baihua Church, not noisy at night.

Next to the old bridge in Florence, 403 river view suite, the living room and bedroom have floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Arno River, the location is good and the scenery is good, but the heating is not too hot. On the third day, we were upgraded to the larger family river view suite 405 next door, with a dining room for six people and two bathrooms, which is even better👍🏻 The hotel breakfast is also very rich. recommend!
