The hotel is amazing. The AC didn’t work in our room but the staff did everything in their power to fix it and it finally did work. The breakfast buffet was bad. They need to do way better. We’ve had better breakfast selections at a $150 per night hotel. Overall amazing though.

We’d rate our stay at Villa Le Fontanelle a solid 4.5 out of 5—but since there’s no half-star option, we’re going with a 5. The property is truly beautiful and peaceful, with stunning views over Florence. It has that quiet, magical Tuscan charm, and the whole environment feels intimate and private. The rooms were spacious and elegant, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. That said, there are a couple of areas where the experience could be improved. First, breakfast was quite basic—not a lot of variety, and surprisingly, no fresh-squeezed orange juice. For a property of this level, we expected something more curated and premium. Second, the early checkout time (10:30 am) felt unnecessarily rushed. In such a serene setting, the last thing you want is to feel hurried in the morning.
