Needless to say, the location is very convenient. It's within walking distance from the train station. It's very cost-effective. The house is an old-fashioned apartment, a bit like a B&B. It feels like an old-fashioned European family. It's hygienic. Although it's a shared bathroom, You can bring your own disinfectant and spray it on the toilet. At this price, with such a location and room size, you really shouldn’t be too picky about other things.

My experience in this hotel was really, really bad. I wasn't allowed to put my friends' things in, and I didn't let anyone else stay. The landlord kept sending messages asking me to take their things out, and also asked the cleaning staff to take them out. The staff came to drive away the friend who helped me put things away. There were no matching items in the room. Shower gel and shampoo were not marked in the public toilet. There was something going on in the room and a child was crying. I had to pay the city tax in the first place. I paid 11 euros, and after staying, they said I was rude, unreasonable and cunning? ? ? ? ? I'm really baffled by this hotel

The experience was... surprising. I booked and paid for a room at Sweet Florence that i never had the chance to see because when i arrived, i called the property number and a man told us to wait 10mins. A lady came and took us to Novella Italy because the heater didnt work at Sweet Florence. Didnt even show us or ask us if we want or not. Went to N. I. Reached 3rd floor with a noisy elevator(which could be heard from the last room in the property), here we found an old, untidy room with shared bathroom with other 2 rooms. Also there lived the owner and her daughter and nephew(so a lot of noise). The bathroom was old also, not so clean. We had a breakfast with coffee, juice, biscotatte, marmelade, croissant and a fruit. Also the heater was not enough so during the night it was kinda chilly(in march).

I had a great stay at this accommodation! The room and bathroom were clean, and while we never ran into the host in person, she was very nice and responsive when we emailed her. The location was right next to a tram stop, but we didn’t find us needing to use it since the accommodation was in such a great location to easily be able to walk around Florence. I would stay here again if I ever return to Florence.

Not recommended. I stayed two nights with my girlfriend, I underline this in case anyone (like us() loses this information, which is quite important. The bathroom is shared. It is essentially an apartment shared with strangers. There are three rooms, everyone has their own and there is a bathroom shared between everyone. No one there to ask for information in case of need, (you have to call, if it's ok they will answer you!). we understood how to do it. We found ourselves in difficulty, as we don't have any staff we can ask. I bought some bleach to disinfect the bathroom. I repeat, if they have time they will answer you, but in those situations you will also struggle to place a call.
