Fornace Suite

I had a delightful stay at the Fornace Suite. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable experience. The suite's design was stunning, with a beautiful blend of elegance and modern touches. Although it's not directly in the city center, it's only a pleasant 20-minute walk away, allowing easy access to Florence's iconic landmarks. Overall, I highly recommend the Fornace Suite for its stylish and welcoming setting, making it a great choice for experiencing the beauty and charm of Florence.

We stayed in the Bernini suite. It was perfect for a girls trip. The entire apartment was beautiful and very clean. The daily housekeeping was wonderful. We really appreciated the coffee, orange juice, and water (both flat and sparkling) that was included. I really could not recommend this place enough. The people who worked there were so nice and helpful. Upon arriving they sent a text with recommendations. We went to three of the restaurants on their list and they were all perfect. It felt like because the location wasn't in the central tourist location we were eating with locals and the prices reflected that. They were also able to help me make reservations at two restaurants prior to our arrival that would only take telephone reservations. For people with mobility issues, this may not be an ideal place for you to stay because of the distance from the main sites but we didn't mind the walk/bus ride. You can easily look up the C4 or 23 bus near the hotel to get to the main tourist attractions. You can tap your credit card or use your phone to pay for the bus ride. The breakfast restaurant across the street that is included with your stay was great! The staff there were all super nice and we really enjoyed the food. It seems to be really popular with locals too. In summary, if you want to stay in beautiful and comfortable surroundings that is well located (albeit a bit further than other hotels available), you can't go wrong with Fornace Suites.

This is really a gorgeous and comfortable hotel. They have outfitted the rooms beautifully with the most modern conveniences, beautifully tucked away kitchenette, closets, safe, even the bathroom is smartly tucked away. The bed was very comfortable, the location is great. A great deal of thought went into the design and it shows. Our only complaint is that we were on the 3rd floor and were asked not to use the elevator, though it was working. This was not ideal as I am recovering from a broken ankle and after a day of hoofing it around the city, the climb up the stairs was unpleasant. I hope this has been remedied by now.
