Hotel lobby is on the 2nd floor with no lift. If your luggage is heavy, be prepared. We got the room on 3rd floor!! My luggage is 16 kgs, so it’s ok for me. The room we stayed in was old, tired, and different from what we saw in hotel websites. Location is not bad. Overall experience is fair (a little bit lower than we expected). Price is acceptable.

Very close to the city centre, Duomo, and train station. Peaceful at night. Restaurants and coffee shops near by. Clean hotel. They let me check in early. Great place!

The bathroom sink was clogged. The room was clean, but there was no elevator. You can ask the staff to help you move your luggage. It's close to the attractions and the train station. The price is very cheap. It's about the same as expected. The breakfast shop next to it is delicious.

In room 10 the flush barrel did not work. For 2 days it. The VC was not repaired. The “window” looked out onto the wall and the sewer. The smell in the room was not fresh. For the money, 2 stars are justified. But I wish it were better

The room had a bad smell as did the bathroom, old facilities. It was not the best lodging experience we had in Italy, apart from the fact that the two nights were booked at a fairly high cost for a 2-star hotel. The only positive thing was the location.

Unfortunately, a very unpleasant hotel. Very disgusting smell and unhygienic bathroom. The heating was full of dirt. I find it very inappropriate that something so obvious is not even cleaned. The hotel is far too expensive for the service!!

Don't choose this place. The room is very humid and there is no hot water in room No. 5 at night. I stayed for two nights and had to call someone to fix it every night. Удобное расположение отеля в шаговой доступности от центра и вокзала. Отелем занимаются индийцы, которые очень хорошо говорят и понимают по английски. Рядом есть много кафе где можно выпить кофе. В самом отеле есть микроволновка и чайник с 8 утра до 8 вечера. Не стоит ожидать от отеля многое, все таки ему 60 лет, но он как итальянский джентльмен в управлении филиала отеля Мериголд Лучшего из экзотических. 😜

Very simple hotel, with a lot to be improved. The location is great, very central and a few blocks away from the main train station, and also the important sights in Florence. Staff is friendly and helpful, always smiling. The room is not very isolated, the air conditioning does not work, and the heating is switched off. There's no one at the reception during the night. Shower over head does not have enough pressure and does not work. You'll have to use the detachable shower, but gladly you can hang it. TV is very small. No fridge in rooms. Pillows are very small. Reception and rooms are on the 1st floor, so one flight of stairs is necessary to be climbed. Flushing only works again after maybe 10/15 mins.
