The Westin Excelsior, Florence Reviews

During my stay, the hotel was undergoing a large-scale renovation. Half of the entrance was sealed, the lobby became smaller, and the rooftop restaurant with a view was closed. It looks like this project will take more than a year to complete.

The location is strategic, the scenery is pleasant, and travel is convenient; the breakfast is delicious and rich, and the service at the front desk and restaurant is warm and thoughtful.

The service was extremely poor. The fire alarm rang at 5 o'clock in the morning and lasted until nearly 8 o'clock. The hotel did not explain or apologize. There are a lot of people at breakfast, and there is almost no service. The house is super old. The penthouse suite has a good view from the terrace, but nothing else. I feel that the overall hotels in Italy are very poor. The price is still very expensive.
