HUGE disappointment... We stayed for five nights ..Guess they stopped cleaning the rooms, taking the trash out or replacing used towels.. Out of the five nights we stayed, trashed was taking out twice, Used Towels replaced twice and the beds made up ONCE .. There was a "Rest Easy" card placed on the desk saying " Our commitment to high level of cleanliness is backed by our clean promise" Room cleaned by : Tessa I'm guessing Tessa the only person who cleans the rooms and she only works a day or two each week. The Free breakfast was O.K., the pancake machine worked the first and second day we had breakfast , but after that , it was Out of Order. There are other options. Plus they were Renovating , so we had to deal with workers making noise.. We were hoping they would at least not be working on the weekends, but no, they were there. I'm sure the hotel will say : They are working 7 days a week to complete the renovations as soon as possible The workers also put a piece of tile on the side door, to make it easier for them to get in and out of the hotel, BUT it also makes it easier for ANYONE to get in the hotel.. Even after the workers were done for the day, they left the side door propped open, I removed that piece of tile four night.. So the hotel would be safer The sign posted on the inside of the room door, says : Max Room Rate $159.00 but some how I got charged $161.50 one of the nights ..(Room 202 ) I also plan on getting in touch with Holiday Inn's corporate office to report what happened during our stay.. I did take a Business Card of the General Manager , (Chris Pearson) .. I'll be sure to include the hotel manager to the email I send to Corporate Avoid this hotel at all costs, we have family that lives in Florence, so we visit every now and then.. Next time we visit, we'll be staying at another hotel !!
