Buubble Hotel - Ölvisholt

Great stay. The rooms were as shown in the pictures. Had a great time

Bubbles were not as private as I would expect. There are 60 steps up to the bubbles and I saw an older couple struggling to get to their bubble. That should be disclosed for disabled people. There was a limited view out of our bubble due to tree branches. Fun for a night but probably would not do again.

The best "hotel" experience of our trip. It's camping in the middle of the Icelandic forest while encased in a bubble. The setup and location are first rate, and the adventure is like nothing you have experienced before. Each bubble is placed at a separate location surrounded by trees within the forest venue of the Bubble Hotel so privacy is not an issue. Had an amazing night's sleep in the summer despite it getting dark in Iceland for only 3 hours.

We absolutely loved our experience at the Bubble Hotel. We wished we could stay another night. The scenery around it is just stunning including green pastures with Icelandic horses and the charming path through the woods leading to each of the bubbles. The rooms are so cozy and the beds are comfortable. We slept so well! We traveled with our family of 4 so we booked two bubbles and our kids had their own and they loved it. Be advised that you’ll need to carry your belongings a little ways up to your bubble. We opted to not carry suitcases and just bring a small overnight bag with only what was needed. There are bathrooms with showers at the main office at the front and they are very comfortable. Also, you’ll want to bring sleep masks for the summer months to allow you to sleep well. We can’t say enough good things about our experience here!

What a unique property and experience! The property was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

One of those things you just have to try for yourself. It was dream in a dream. Friendly and easygoing staff. Already looking into going there again.
