Amazing hotel, with super spa, swimming pools and common areas. Good restaurant and rich breakfast. Room is nice and with comfortable bathroom. Staff is friendly and helpful. Really exceeding by far our expectation and in view of the bad weather on Saturday we really enjoyed the spa and swimming pools indoor and outdoor.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Adula vom 8. bis 16. März 2025 war eine rundum wunderbare Erfahrung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der Kategorie "Lodge" gebucht und uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Der herzliche Empfang durch Orazio Luigi Baldassare setzte den perfekten Start für unseren Urlaub. Die Check-in-Abwicklung verlief reibungslos und effizient, während uns die wichtigsten Informationen zum Hotel erklärt wurden, sodass wir uns direkt entspannen konnten. Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir den Willkommensdrink, der uns in einer freundlichen Atmosphäre serviert wurde. Unser Zimmer war nicht nur sauber, sondern auch sehr ruhig gelegen, genau das, was wir uns für eine erholsame Zeit gewünscht hatten. Der grosszügige und gut ausgestattete SPA-Bereich liess keine Wünsche offen. Von verschiedenen Saunen über das Dampfbad bis hin zum Pool, alles war in einem einwandfreien Zustand und sorgte für absolute Entspannung. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend: ruhig, aber dennoch zentral genug, um schnell überall hinzugelangen. Der hoteleigene Shuttlebus war immer startbereit und ermöglichte einen schnellen und unkomplizierten Transport zur Talstation. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein weiteres Highlight. Die Auswahl war reichhaltig, die Qualität erstklassig und die Speisen wurden stets frisch und ansprechend präsentiert. Wir konnten jeden Morgen mit einem köstlichen und abwechslungsreichen Frühstück in den Tag starten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die aussergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit und Professionalität des gesamten Personals. Jeder Mitarbeiter war stets um unser Wohl bemüht. Wir können das Hotel Adula weiterempfehlen und freuen uns bereits auf unseren nächsten Besuch! Laura & Nino

Hotel premises were classy and tidy. When arriving with 2 families we encountered a problem with the reservation. I had reserved a room and confirmed earlier facing the courtyard, not the street. This was confirmed by e-mail also. When arriving, they said my room is not ready, but confirmed again at the reception that it is facing the inside. When it was ready I got the room key. It was facing the street. I went back and complained that even after 2 confirmations by the Hotel, I got something else. We started rounds around the Hotel looking at available rooms in different buildings, but in the end got a smaller room than my travel buddies, with the same price, but facing the inside as requested. On Friday, when ordering drinks at the bar, the bartender probably thought I was Russian and replied to me by "Da". I got offended by this. On Saturday the Restaurant Manager overbilled us and started to complain that our dinner arrangements of 6 persons were too complicated for him to calculate correctly. We requested a recalculation and a new bill, which he in the end did but still complained that he was correct. It left a bad taste of the service. We have done more than 20 years of these trips to Hotels of 4-5 stars in the Alps, and the service experience here was probably the worst. But - the hotel was nice. Food in the Hotel Restaurant was OK and Breakfast was good.

We have stayed at the Adula almost every year for 20 years. It has always been comfortable, but the recent changes have bought it up to date and have made the hotel a destination, rather than simply a very pleasant place to stay. I would highly recommend it.

I booked this hotel for a ski trip with my teenage daughter. The place is clean and nicely decorated. Staff is overall friendly. However, we had a few VERY unpleasant experiences. I think basically this place has not decided who they want to cater for. I am writing this review after being woken up at night by the extremely loud music being played by the DJ in the hotel lobby. And this is the same hotel where toddlers and kids are left playing in the jacuzzi even when it should be reserved for adults. I had half-board included. The first evening, we had to wait one hour (!!) for being served the first course - a salad. For three nights in a row, we were served broccoli as a side dish. A waiter kept complaining to us that he was overworked. My daughter must follow a strict gluten free diet, and one evening they came rushing in to take away her dish - that she was already eating - saying they were not sure they had served her the glutenfree version. In general, service was a mess. And the place obviously lack the attention to detail you would expect from a 4+ hotel. For example, they had no red fruit preserve for breakfast - a minor thing, but it shows what I mean. But honestly the techno music that woke us up unannounced was the cherry on the cake. A real pity because the place has potential.

Hotel Adula is a wonderful hotel with an abundance of nice surprises. Located only minutes from the lifts through a regular shuttle service, this hotel offers delicious food and excellent drinks at the restaurants as well as fantastic relaxation at the spa with a variety of treatments. The service is very friendly and efficient and we would highly recommend Hotel Adula.
