I booked room for 2 adults and 1 kid 10 years old and right from day 1 hotel staff said kid can not stay in superior room.i was given room saying I will be told if any extra payment is required but no one told anything untill chkout when I was asked to pay MUR 3000 extra for kid stay while I did not ask for extra bed or brkfast for kid bcoz as per booking voucher same was not applicable.when I refused to make extra payment I was threatened of police action as if I am a thief.this is not the way customer should b treated.also seems there was communication gap on part of trip.com to pass on booking requirements.

The Villas Caroline is a hotel to feel good! My friend and I spent 2 weeks here. It is very centrally located, there are many restaurants in the area (Mauritian cuisine, Italian, Indian,…). We only booked breakfast, which was very extensive (crêpes, bread, fruit, muesli, omelette,…). What we liked best was the phenomenal view from our room (room 345). All rooms have sea views and a terrace or balcony. Problems with the room were resolved immediately. We will definitely come back! It was a stunning holiday! We arrived in the apartments on the day the cyclone Garance was threatened. Hotel owners gave detailed instructions on contactless settlement, hinted about the nearest supermarkets and were in touch all the time! We also provided apartments with larger space. Inside, everything was necessary: a big refrigerator, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, stove, oven, microwave, air conditioner and fans, washing machine. Clean, plumbing in excellent condition. The apartments are large, dishes for any taste, were all: pans, jars, turkeys and vegetarians. The Wolmar store is 5 min walking, on the opposite side of the beach, the big Jumbo Express supermarket. Very beautiful beach nearby, lots of food trails, cafes, generally side of the ur si yyy beaches. I'd be happy to return again!

We stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely recommend the place! The people are so friendly and helpful! Carried our suitcases up, extra eggs were given with breakfast! Helpful and even access to laundry and things. Will definitely recommend them. So nice and peaceful there with no disturbance 😊
