High Country Motor Lodge - Near Nau and Downtown

The place was great! Would have been beyond perfect if the new sauna, plunge, and pool were open. The sheets and bed were amazing after a week of outdoor adventures! The food and drinks were amazing and the outdoor fire pits were the perfect atmosphere for the end of vacation and start of business.

The room itself was very modern, neat and tidy. They provided bottled water for the coffee machine but not enough creamer/coffee pods to last me through the morning. Food is good but very, very expensive. Service at the bars/restaurants is slow, and again, very expensive. The odds at the ****** suck. As in, don't plan on being able to play slots for long,bc payouts/bonuses are lowsy. I encountered 3 other couples/people riding the elevator at the same time as me (Fri and Sat), and both sports bars were low energy for a weekend. Which made me think this hotel isn't doing well.
DoubleTree by Hilton Flagstaff

Service was great. Madison, the front desk manager was especially responsive and considerate. I had to move rooms as being near the laundry room was a bit noisy with people going in and out and slamming the door inconsiderately. Also, the sockets on the base of the lamps did not work and were dangerously loose with the potential of a short circuit occurring. I wouldn’t plug my tech gear in those sockets.
