Air Rooms Rome Airport by HelloSky

The location was great being so close to the airport, we were able to take our cart of luggage with us and return to the terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful and we appreciate the extra touch of helping with directions and other things. A good stay, we would recommend it to others
Porto Romano - the Marina Resort
4.4/5103 Reviews
We stayed here for one night after a Cruise. We needed to be next to the airport and wanted a pool. The pool was amazing. The rooms (deluxe suites) were very nice, clean and modern. We also booked double rooms and a triple, again, very nice. However, the hotel itself is very run down. Lots of peeling paint. The reception staff were very helpful in ordering us Taxis and organising transfers. It was the attached restaurant which is the problem. The hotel is located away from any restaurants so we assumed we would simply eat at the next door restaurant in the evening. However, the menu was not very child friendly. The location was beautiful but we just didn’t fancy eating here. We got taxis into Ostia for food instead. We’re really glad we did. Breakfast the following morning was disgusting, both the offering and the quality but also the welcome (what welcome?). We were a family of 13 and there just wasn’t enough food. A couple of mini pastries, some small slices of bread and a small toaster. Some boiled eggs floating in lukewarm warm water, some tomato’s and some cheese. It was so awful. We asked for some juice and we were told it was finished (still 20 mins left of breakfast opening ) I asked for some bread to toast, again met with an eye roll. I can honestly say it was the worst breakfast offering I have ever experienced. Bedrooms clean and comfortable. Pool was excellent and so needed in early Sept (which is why we chose this hotel), however, the food options were terrible. I wouldn’t stay here again based on this. We wanted a 1 night stay that was easy after lots of travelling, before our flight back to England the next day and it didn’t deliver. This hotel needs to provide a better evening dining experience and menu and a much better Breakfast with some service!
Hotel Tiber

A (somewhat expensive) shuttle takes you this modern hotel, only 3 km from the airport. We don´t agree with recent reviews of disappointment. (The shuttle is easy to find IF YOU HAVE PRINTED OUT THE MAP from the hotel internet site). Nice premises, they even have a rooftop pool! (but no gym). Rooms are OK, restaurant is good with an outside option, overlooking the fishingboats moored on the river. Staff is polite and helpful to non-italians. Fiumcino is also a charming little town. If you like to eat out, restaurants are plentiful just up the street from the hotel.
Albis Rooms Guest House
4.8/562 Reviews
I don’t think words can describe how special the guest experience is at Albis Rooms. Comfortable beds, safe, clean environment and kindness as the running theme throughout your stay. The first thing you notice when you come to the room is the smell. It’s divine, then you see the towels sealed in cellophane bags and wrapped up like gifts. There are endless thoughtful touches everywhere. Feminine hygiene wash by the bidet, adaptor plugged into the main outlet, fridge full of goodies, dental kit, shaving kit, every amenity you could wish for. They’ve provided so much that you may not even need to open your suitcase during a long layover. The guesthouse is located in Fiumicino, which is perfect if you prefer a quieter area away from the hustle of central Rome. It's about a 10-15 minute drive if you have a rental car, taxi or rideshare, but note that Uber can be a bit pricey—around €40 from the airport (this may have been surge pricing) and €70 into Rome's city center. However, I highly recommend booking a taxi with Roberta, the host, for your airport transfer—it’s only €25, much more affordable than Uber. While public transport is an option, it can be a bit tricky and may involve some walking I have to admit when I first read the review and saw five stars from every guest I was skeptical, now I’m ready to rebook to stay with them the next time I’m in Rome. Armando and Roberta even packed breakfast bags for us, taking into account for dietary restrictions and intolerances. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so spoilt and cared for. 5* treatment and service all the way through. I’d highly recommend.
Rome Airport Hotel Fiumicino

The hotel is a short distance from the airport. The hotel is small and quiet. It should be the best choice next to the Rome airport. The price is very close to the people, but it is difficult to find something to eat at night.
Rome Airport Inn

Quality, cleanliness and availability beyond my expectations, although we booked with only one day in advance we were welcomed as usual customers, the reception was perfect in organizing and managing our Check-in in advance. This is a beautiful and clean room, a friendly, professional and careful staff. I have stayed in many hotels and I can assure you that whoever carries out his profession in this facility does it with passion and dedication to the client, because knowing “host” is an art and you find here real artists. The only regret is that I have stayed one night, and I hope that I will soon remedy it and return to us soon.
