Staff is so incredibly nice. I wish we could have stayed longer because with all we had planned we didn't get a chance to really walk around the farm. No A/C if that is a consideration for you, but we went in the fall so the temps were comfortable.

Absolutely not what was written in the write-up… none of the extra things to do were available. Dining room was not open. Bought food to feed the animals to only find out on our own when we started to walk the farm that there was electric fences around all the animals - so the animals do not come close so you cannot feed them. We felt like we were bothering the employees - considering we cancelled our original plans to stay here - we were very disappointed.

We had a truly authentic tuscan family experience here. From our 5 year old neice to our 88 year old grandmother, everyone loved learning about the animals, honey, olives and wine, and they enjoyed sampling it even more. Delicious food and wine enjoyed by every member of the family! Thank you for looking after us in such a special way.

What a beautiful quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I almost cried when I saw the view from the restaurant overlooking such classic Tuscan scenery. This spot was very kid friendly. We saw a few class trips full of kids and there were daily farm activities to involve them in from donkey grooming to botanical garden walks. We had the kids in the pool all day. We had a beautiful updated standard room with a private patio that we loved. Very comfortable beds. Good food and espresso. Awesome olive oil and tour! The staff were so so accommodating hosting our Italian relatives for dinner one night that they were technically closed and also helping my parents to switch rooms mid stay.

We are still fascinated by our stay at the Fattoria Maiano. The room with its own table and chairs on a small veranda with a view of Firenze. Breakfast was served to us there. 80% of the food comes from the farm's own production. Long walks and visiting the animals were a highlight. And in just 11 minutes by car you can reach the center of Firenze. At the Fattioria you are far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much and plan to visit this place again.

We booked this hotel for a two day stay whilst traveling to Florence, attracted by the tempting pictures on the website. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be disappointingly different. The building depicted in the beautiful photos turned out to be dated and isolated, far from the amenities of the main complex. The entrance to the building was on a less traveled road or in an unsightly courtyard, which compromised safety and comfort. The breakfast room, which served as an entrance and corridor, was right next to the rooms, causing a constant disturbance. The rooms were extremely noisy and we were tormented by noises from families in the next room until late at night, despite the doors being closed. When we asked at the reception about a possible cancellation or an overnight stay, we were coldly rejected. We had to pay the full amount, even though we left frustrated after one night. Overall, our stay was a big disappointment and we certainly cannot recommend this accommodation.
