Hotel Waldsee

On holiday with the family, the hotel is in a very beautiful location... inside a forest adjacent to the Fie' lake; there is a terrace where, weather permitting, you can have breakfast and/or dinner under the top of the Sciliar. Good food quality and the right doses, the appetizer buffet could be improved. At dinner, you must take bottled water but €4.20 for a 0.75l seems really excessive to me. Nice wellness area but without the possibility of hydrating yourself with a drink or simply water. The room is in the annex and not in the central building, it was not a family room (I specify that we had been told that we would have a superior double) spacious but two pre-adolescent children sleeping for a week on a sofa seems a bit too much to me. The cleanliness was not the best.... behind the radiator (it is not my habit to look at these details but moving the curtain my eye fell) there were traces of old dirt, bathroom without a shower box but with a bathtub (today a bit anachronistic). No safe in the room. The idea I got is that it is a good hotel but perhaps some investment should be made to improve the services (including the dining room staff who were sometimes confused and did not always understand Italian); it does not seem structured for families with children while it is very well set up for those with a dog. Given the price asked and given that we are talking about a very well organized and structured area I think it could be done better. The owner is a great expert in itineraries for trip suggestions. Very good and professional.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir schätzen die Lage und die Ruhe in dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber.
