This hotel is in a corner of the spider web-like alley in the old city. It has no signs and only a small door. It is impossible for normal people to find it on their own. Later, we found a place where we booked a room with a private bathroom. When we arrived, it became a public bathroom, and he took us to the room. The contact person is so nice that helped us arrange city tour and transport to another city. Even though we had to leave at 8, which was not the breakfast timeslot, the house keeper prepared food for us to take away. We had so much fun here.

Ahmed and his team were wonderful and provided a wonderful experience. The price was very affordable and the amenities and service provided were outstanding. From the moment we entered the Riad, we were welcomed like family, offered tea and sweets, and made to feel welcome in Fes. The food for breakfast was traditional Moroccan cuisine and although I did not have the opportunity to eat the dinner, the menu looked wonderful. The rooms were quite spacious and had plenty of space to move around. The view from the terrace was also wonderful to view the ancient ruins above the city. Upon leaving, Ahmed made sure that we had everything we needed and even guided us to the best spot to find a taxi. I would absolutely stay here the next time I visit Fes and will make sure to tell all of my friends about this great find!

Een uitstekend verblijf! Geen seconde gehad van de keuze voor deze riad. De eigenaar is zeer gastvrij, stond dag en nacht klaar om te helpen en je kon hem via Whatsapp steeds bereiken. Je kon bij hem terecht voor vragen over het financiële, uitstappen of leuke restaurants. Eveneens het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker, typisch Marokkaans en meer dan genoeg. Ook de kamers hebben niets op aan te merken, alles was aanwezig en er was ruimte genoeg. 's Nachts koelde het wel wat af, maar door de verwarming kort aan te leggen of een extra deken te nemen. De badkamer was naast de kamer, je moest via de gang er naartoe, maar deze was wel privé. Er was soms wel wat weinig toiletpapier maar deze kon je steeds bijvragen. De liggen van de riad kon niet beter. Na het uitwandelen van het steegje, zat je na 3 minuten al in de grootste winkelstraat van Fez. In de buurt lagen ook zeer veel lekkere en leuke restaurantjes wat leuk is dat je 's avonds niet perse meer ver moet wandelen. Kortom dit verblijf is zeker en vast een aanrader!

I stayed at Dar Bhija in Fes and it was amazing. Cozy rooms, friendly staff and excellent Moroccan breakfast. The location in the heart of the medina is convenient for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Fes.
