Perla Hôtel

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was far from comfortable due to several issues. First, I witnessed a shocking incident from my room window: a Glovo delivery worker arrived to drop off an order, and suddenly a hotel staff member came out into the street and physically assaulted him, causing his face to bleed. The delivery man was simply doing his job, and the aggression was completely uncalled for and disturbing. Second, there is a shop just across from the hotel (apparently selling alcohol), and after 5 PM, the area becomes noisy and chaotic with frequent arguments and disturbances, which seriously affects the peacefulness of the stay. Third, the hotel's location is very close to the train station, which means loud train noises can be heard throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep. Additionally, I noticed a lack of professionalism from some of the hotel staff in how they communicate and handle situations. Overall, I did not feel comfortable or well-treated during my stay, and I had expected a much better experience in terms of service, atmosphere, and professionalism.

The Perla Hotel was our base for the week whilst exploring Fes, Tangier and Chefchaouen. It was perfect for what we needed. Close to the train station, 20min walk to the Medina and lots of restaurants and cafes near by. The hotel is basic but clean with traditional deco, our room was a good size (we put two singles together!) a decent bathroom and a little balcony to watch the world go by. The breakfast was basic but delicious. The staff and owners of the hotel were fantastic! Mounds, Othman and Mounir were Friendly and really helpful, they made our stay at Perla perfect. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are exploring the area! We had the best week!

The man behind the desk was not friendly at all. I cant understand why this man ( around 55 with black spectacles) has a job like this. He told us a very high price. We told him that we could book the room less expensive by Booking. After that he blocked all rooms in Booking. That is not only bad for us as costumer but very bad for the company where he is working for.
