從沙漠離開到菲斯古城整整開了10個小時個路程，從早上9點出發到晚上8點到達酒店屁股已經開花。 Riad的老闆是個里昂的摩洛哥女婿，十足中國文化迷，整個房子很有品位也感覺他玩得很開心。誠意十足的酒店，每個員工跟老闆都很盡心讓人感覺像是另個在摩洛哥的家。 It took us a full 10 hours to drive from the desert to the ancient city of Fez. We were exhausted from the time we set out at 9 am to the time we arrived at the hotel at 8 pm. The owner of the Riad is a Moroccan son-in-law from Lyon, who is a complete fan of Chinese culture. The whole house is very tasteful. A very sincere hotel. Every employee and boss is very dedicated and makes people feel like we are at home in Morocco.

Their attentiveness was beyond compare; every single need was anticipated and met with such grace and genuine kindness. It felt as though they had conjured a personalized haven just for us. The Riad itself is a masterpiece of Moroccan artistry. Every corner, every tile, every intricate carving contributes to an atmosphere of breathtaking beauty and tranquility. I did not write long review for some time… this Road AKA Museum earned my respect for the time! Overall 5/5, a hidden gem as Riad and as cool as a museum of the Fes Elements! Location: 5/5 right at the centre of Medina Environment: 5/5, tidy and neat Good: 5/5 fresh and tasty! Service: 6/5, beyond good! De la localisation absolument parfaite à la vue imprenable sur Fès... There are few hotels where one cannot find some small thing--or in most cases, many things--that need improvement. I cannot think of anything that needs improvement at Riad Le Calife. The service, decor, ambiance, and food were all superb. Yasmine and Alex are excellent and knowledgeable hosts who pay attention to the smallest details. We had a wonderful time in Fez, mainly due to the fabulous accommodation. Riad Le Calife is an exquisite island of tranquility amidst the bustle of the medina. Many thanks, and we look forward to another stay.

A truly amazing Riad. Very clean and comfortable, decorated with a wonderfully eclectic mix of artwork and objects. Everywhere there are little treasures to discover. The hosts - Alex and Yasmine could not have been more helpful and we feel they went 'above and beyond' to make us feel welcome and looked after. All the staff were delightful and so hard working. Always with a smile and a greeting. Fatima's cooking was delicious and very authentic. Certainly worth eating in-house. Riad Le Calife is a happy place to spend time and we will definitly return - Insha'Allah. If you are visiting Fes and want a very special place to stay, then this riad should be at the very top of your choice list. Thank you Alex, Yasmine and all the staff for our truly special stay with you.

Its been over six months since our visit but my late review is a testament about how much we enjoyed our stay. The location is great; placed inside the Medina so that you have an authentic experience. We wanted to avoid a sanitized brand hotel on the outskirts. We wanted to experience an authentic riad. This Riad hit everything we were looking for: a quiet oasis in the medina complete with interior garden and fountain, great food and warm staff. The restaurant has a great view over the medina. The calls to prayer in the evenings while we had dinner on the patio were amazing. The staff offered a personal touch that made the experience even better. One night, we were short on cash for the next days transfer so Mohamed took time after his shift to escort us through the Medina to an ATM. Before leaving early morning, he and the cook woke up early before their shift to make sure we had breakfast before leaving. We loved this country and the experience with these warm people were one of the reasons.
