Good but no facilities such as drinks/refreshments

The location ok the breakfast good but no have a minimum standard for the room service no slippers for the customers !!!!!!! It’s 2 or 3 star level hotel but not 4 star

Very good the price is worth it

We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Volubilis. We hesitated to book the hotel because of some bad reviews about not having hot water and the staff being unfriendly (especially to Asians). But we decided to book anyways because of its location and quite affordable price. We were arriving to Fez at around 5pm, and we were told staying at the Medina wouldn't be worth it. Since we were catching a flight the next morning, we thought it would be more convenient to stay in the new city. So, despite some of the bad reviews, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Volubilis. Its location turned out to be great. It's right at the center and by the main avenue. There are lots of places to eat at walking distance and there are several Carrefours closeby also at walking distance. The staff was nice and they welcomed us well and took our request for a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, we have no complaints about the staff. Our room was big with a terrace. The room was old but clean. The terrace had no table or chairs, but it was okay. The bathroom was also big and we had no issues with the hot water. We showered at arrival and in the morning and water was hot and with pressure. The thing that we missed the most in the room was a fridge. Other than that, all good and acceptable. Though we agree with the other comments saying that this is not a 4-star hotel by "global" standards.

Run away from this hotel. We have been going there for many years, and this year, we had a catastrophic "welcome". Not to mention the fact that the rooms are not at all soundproofed (we live with the neighbors), the reception harassed us, even at night (call on the telephone line of the room at 10 p.m.) because they could not be cashed from the site that they themselves subcontract (room paid in advance on this trip site). We were called during the day on our phones, the hotel asking us to pay them again a second time and to sort it out with the site. After 4 days of harassment, we had to use our own phone (the hotel refused to call them) to resolve the problem. I have never seen such archaic management. Change receptionist and reservation manager, that's advice.

The hotel is located on the busiest main road in the center of Fez, surrounded by many restaurants and convenient for travel. The interior of the hotel is like a garden, very beautiful, the room is good among local brand hotels in Morocco, but the facilities are very average. Drinking water is not provided, there are mosquitoes at night but no mosquito repellent equipment. There are not many varieties of breakfast, which cannot be compared with foreign-related hotels. All in all, the price-performance ratio is high and worth the price.

I was woken up for two euros of tax, they added me and raised the price while booking announced another price, very disappointed with the service

It's definitely an old hotel. Instead, since it is a luxury hotel, the overall facilities are decent. However, there is no refrigerator and inside the hotel The overall brightness is dark.

Excellent night in this very quiet hotel in the city center close to all shops.

Great stay

Parking is convenient. The environment is elegant. Although no one swims in winter, the two swimming pools, one square and one round, are clean and the lawn is neatly trimmed. The blue lights in the corridor are soft and beautiful. The room is large, the bathroom layout is reasonable and practical, and the shower water is large and hot. The non-smoking policy is well implemented, and the air feels fresh. The breakfast has a little bit of everything, and pays attention to the balanced diet. The glass sliding door between the room and the balcony is not flexible and difficult to use, and needs to be repaired.
