Le jour de notre arrivée ,je suis allée au spa. Le massage réalisé par Asma a été un des meilleurs de ma longue vie. Elle est venue à bout des tensions dans les épaules comme jamais personne avant elle . De plus,les produits utilisés sont délicieusement parfumés et d’une texture a la fois riche et peu grasse. "Riad" totalement moderne et quasi neuf. Chambre 35: Pas de fenêtres ouvertes, seulement deux petites baies vitrées en hauteur verre cathédrale, ce qui donne à la chambre un caractère de cellule. Chambre assez sommaire pour un établissement qui clame être un hôtel luxueux. Les sols de salle de bain (mais pas uniquement) sont négligés et visiblement ne connaissent pas la serpillière ou le balai brosse . Les chambres donnent sur une cour intérieure. Or cette cour intérieur fait salle du petit déjeuner et des repas du soir. La musique, le bruit de la clientèle, les meubles en métal que l'on traine sur un sol irrégulier, le pauvre musicien du soir (oud) contribuent à une ambiance sonore particulièrement pénible pour qui cherche le calme. Vous serez réveillés des les 7h du matin et vous "profiterez" des bruits parfois musicaux le soir jusqu'à environ 22H, 22H30. Points forts: Le parking surveillé par caméra qui donne sur les remparts et vous permettra d'accéder directement à l’hôtel. La qualité honorable des petits déjeuners (quoique tardifs ... 7H30 minimum). Grande gentillesse du personnel. Service laundry impeccable.

We had a nice stay at Dar Lys. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean and the breakfast was good with many varieties to choose from. Excellent staff and service. We highly recommend this riad on your stay in Fes. One small detail to watch out for is that some of the guests dining in the courtyard can be quite noisy late into the night. Management should look into that because many guests need to head out for excursions early in the mornings.

Cutest little 5 star hotel in Fez. Superb breakfast, they bring you the Moroccan breakfast to your table and we enjoyed everything. The rooms are small but well appointed and very cute. Walking distance to the old town. You can walk to a number of places in the old town from here. This is a gem of a place.

This review may be unusual as we ultimately didn’t stay at Dar Lys on our recent trip to Fes. But I wanted to share the very positive experience we had in dealing with the team at Dar Lys. They were exceptionally helpful and professional in communicating with us prior to our trip, in suggesting itineraries and day trips and in helping to organise our transport. Mourad especially went out if his way to help, much more than one had any reason to expect (thank you). Also, we ate in their restaurant at the end of our stay, the best meal of our trip, great service too, highly recommended.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 giorni presso il Riad Dar Lys in compagnia di un gruppo durante una visita a Fez. Un soggiorno da Mille e una Notte! Camere fantastiche, cura e servizio eccellenti... che dire? Un viaggio a Fez vale la pena anche solo per trascorrere un po' di tempo in questo bellissimo riad... grazie a Doha e a Mourad per l'ospitalità e la gentilezza
