Family-friendly Hotels in Nanchang

Stayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out

Before coming here, I read that the reviews of Nanchang hotels were not very good. I didn't expect it at first, but I didn't expect that this stay experience was very good 👍. The hotel is located in Qingshan Lake Scenic Area, and the surrounding environment is very beautiful. Although it is not in the central area, the hotel is surrounded by the lake, quiet and pleasant, very suitable for rest. After arriving at the hotel, I was upgraded to an executive room. The staff's service attitude was friendly. Because there was no need to clean the room, after turning on the do not disturb light, the service staff specially wrote a note to ask, and the front desk also called to ask. The stay experience was very good and very satisfactory, especially the luggage delivery service at the West Station was provided, which was convenient for leaving Nanchang on the day of travel. The hotel breakfast is until 10 o'clock, and it is about a ten-minute walk from the subway station. In winter, the hotel has hot air, and the room will not be cold.

A very satisfying stay. The hotel has an elegant environment, clean and tidy rooms, complete facilities and comfortable beds. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, and the breakfast is rich in variety and tastes great. The location is convenient, the surroundings are quiet and safe, and the cost performance is super high! Highly recommended, I will choose to stay next time!

I stayed at the Oriental Garden Hotel some time ago, and the experience was great! As soon as I entered the lobby, I was attracted by the gorgeous and warm decoration style. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and quickly checked me in. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and comfortable bedding. I slept very well at night. The hotel's restaurant offers a variety of food, rich breakfast, and the main dishes are delicious. It meets my daily exercise needs. The river view is even more unique. It is comfortable and relaxing to walk in it. This stay is impeccable and highly recommended to everyone!

Very modern and superb facilities. Very reasonable price indeed considering the extremely high quality of the rooms and of the excellent service. Although the staff are not fluent in English, they use translation sofrware to supplement their English language knowledge and the staff are extremely helpful. The note that I sent to the staff thanking them says it all (see below). The first time I came to Nanchang, I felt that this hotel was close to Bayi Square. I looked at the environment. The environment is OK. The most important thing is that there is a subway next to it. For people like us who don’t want to walk more, it’s great. The subway can take two stops to Bayi Square and Wan. Shougong is very convenient. The service staff who live with friends are very polite.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Nanchang during National Week. A decent stay all in all. The decor is a bit old fashioned and the walls a little thin. But the room was large and comfortable, the service was very good, and it’s right next to a metro station, making travel easy. Best of all, the windows are very thick which drowns out the city noise well (Nanchang drivers seem to love blaring their horns) Breakfast was a little disappointing. We were told it was open till 12 but when we went down at 9:30 there were very few options left. If you’re a late riser it might be best to get takeaway.

Hotel is very close to Ganjiang river and the night scenic view is gorgeous. Room is spacious and the king-size bed is very comfortable. Front desk staff are very friendly. Hotel also provides free laundry service. BTW, the robot auto delivery service is very impressive. highly recommended!

The front desk customer service attitude is very good Afternoon tea for two: It is unique. Generally, goddesses don’t need to eat dinner after tasting the hot pot afternoon tea. The service staff are very good, proactive and enthusiastic, and help solve small problems😁
