The hotel room was a basic and small twin, as we expected from our booking. We appreciated that it was clean with adequate heating and has ample free parking. The reception staff was patient in answering our queries. Wifi was strong enough for my Zoom meeting.

We found our stay at this hotel very convenient. It was just off the M5 motorway and it was like a separate apartment where we could park right outside our hotel room which was all ground level., The room was clean and tidy had a TV and comfortable beds with extra pillows and the heating.,
They had extra toilets in the foyer and the breakfast included was really top-notch for the price.

The room is clean and the service is thoughtful. It's just that the breakfast for the baby is charged separately, which is a bit uncomfortable. It costs 12 pounds. Those with babies should pay attention to it. It doesn't affect those without babies.

Good things:
Service was friendly and helpful throughout, from evening check-in (missed) to morning reception and breakfast.
Room was adequate.
Would have liked more and better bread options for breakfast, e.g. rolls, buns, pastries, etc.

It was perfect for what we needed for the night, and the ladies at the welcome desk were absolutely lovely! Very cheap and cheerful, fairly close to Exeter city centre but it's not within walking distance. However the room was very cold and the heating didn't seem to kick in at all even with the radiator turned right up, I was shivering! I should have asked for extra blankets.
