Friendly staff , nice bar , warm room what more do you need ! 10 mins to Exeter central

I was kept awake by loud music that finished at 01.00 in the morning, not happy !!! Glad of the small electric heater in the room was the weather was cold. The bathroom could do with some attention, The bed was comfortable glad of the extra blanket.

Nice pub with wonky rooms. Food is excellent and not expensive. Value for money. Stopped here 3 times.

Avoid if you can Cold rooms, single glazed window, broken radiator, broken electric heater, door locked at breakfast, noisy. Poor all round.

Needs money spent on accommodation, very dated and not that tidy.

A nice place to stay with friendly staff The service was generally excellent. I was greeted by the inn's landlord Malcolm who showed me to my room. He was very friendly and welcoming upon my arrival and I felt very valued as a customer. The room was generally clean and peaceful, which was lovely. The shared shower room/toilet had a faulty ceiling light bulb throughout my 2 night stay. I reported this fault to 2x members of staff on the first night but this was never rectified, and so I had to use my mobile phone to light to room at night time every time I went to use the toilet in there. Other than this, the stay was very pleasant.
