This is not your average motel experience! My kids said it was their favorite place we stayed in our trip (and we had some incredible airbnbs). They’re still talking about the jacuzzi, pool, and free limo rides to dinner! The rooms were clean and modern, but the pool area really is what makes this place exceptional- we felt like we had our own little oasis!

Recently stayed at BW Humboldt Bay Inn while visiting the Redwoods. Hotel is conveniently located near lots of restaurants. The breakfast was a big hit with lots of options. The outdoor pool and hot tub were clean and conveniently located to the rooms. We had the chance to use the complimentary limo shuttle to dinner which was a nice plus. Would recommend this hotel for families visiting the Redwoods.

I am handicapped and need an easy sit down shower. They are always happy to help my mom and I to get what is needed. They are a wonderful group of people here at the hotel. Our rooms are always clean and ready to go.

My husband, aunt and I were traveling up the coast and weren’t sure which towns we were going to stay in, but this particular hotel stood out as my aunt loves a pool/ hot tub. This place had 2 rooms available for us (last minute) so we jumped on it p. Pricier than most BWs, but the front desk check in alone made up for it. The man who checked us in (I wish I had gotten his name) was AWESOME! So welcoming and friendly, he gave us restaurant suggestions, offered the limo, acknowledged my status and gave me cold waters (I was a lowly gold member but he still thanked me for belonging to BW) . The hot tub was THE BEST ( think outdoor grotto) , the breakfast was my favorite of all my BW stays (hand cracked eggs- who does that??) yogurt station… beds were super comfy. I would avoid the Mexican restaurant they recommend (Chápalas) ( rip off) but everything else was over and above Best Westerns I’ve stayed at. Thank you for a wonderful night!

We stayed here 1 night on our trip down to SoCal PROs - Clean and comfortable rooms - Free limo service to local restaurants in the evenings - very friendly drive (accepts Venmo for tip) - Well stocked and high quality breakfast buffet - Although we didn’t use it the pool and jacuzzi looked very nice with a tropical feel to it - we found parking although some of the spaces can be small if you have a large vehicle - Super friendly front desk CONS - Only issue we had is that the body wash ran out, not sure if it was a pattern or a one-off of hotel staff forgetting to refill since they were pumps

Probably as nice of a motel as you ever get. Nice, newly renovated motel. Nice location south of Redwoods National Park. Breakfast is served in the pool area. Pool area has two pools, fire pits, tiki torches, Hawaiian music playing. Really nice for a motel.

If you are going to be in Eureka. This is a must stay location Service , quality breakfast and nicely appointed rooms were great. Yes you are on the main road. But there is no road noise. You won’t be disappointed. It’s an oasis in Eureka.

This place was old and nasty. We did not even feel safe to get out of our car. All the doors face the outside. The clientele also were not great. We didn’t even check in. Do not believe the reviews, this place is not nice. I would never stay here and suggest you don’t also.
