Spent our last night in Costa Rica is a cute and cozy bed and breakfast filled with art done by the homeowner. Our hostess, Cecile, was very welcoming and sweet as she greeted us that rainy night…next morning we woke up to a beautifully set table on the outside porch …she cooked for me and my husband a typical “tiko breakast” of eggs peppers and onions along with fresh cut up fruit / yogurt and freshly homemade sourdough and multigrain bread” (bread was still warm!) It was located near many restaurants and stores; wish would had more time to spend exploring the area ….there’s always next time but definitely would recommend and go back!

Everytime we come to Escazu for shopping, we choose this place, love it here! It is quiet, quirky and comfortable. Cecile, the caretaker of the b&b is very nice and makes a delicious breakfast with a variety of homemade sourdough breads. What a treat 😊 We will be back there soon for sure.

This was a last-minute booking for my final night in Costa Rica, and what an amazing find! It’s a beautiful home just in the edge of the center of Escazú. It’s very walkable into town for dinner and drinks. There is beautiful artwork throughout the home, painted by the host. Despite the language barrier, my host could not have been more welcoming. For a modest price, she prepared an amazing breakfast. Just a few kilometers from the center of San José, it was only about a 20-minute drive into the city. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I’m in Costa Rica.

Charming
Very helpful hosts. Delicious breakfast (worth the extra cost)! Nice setting in a fairly busy area. Comfortable bed. Plenty of electrical outlets. Good value. : )
