Escalante Grand Resort

Very clean RV and tent camping park. Shower and laundry area were top notch. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good restaurants and the local grocery had a surprising large selection. We had a fresh pineapple on our first night! Family friendly and a very laid back vibe.

Escalante Grant Resort is a spacious RV resort that made our stay truly enjoyable. Our "panorama" site was well-separated from other sites, allowing for easy maneuvering and providing a sense of privacy. The resort also boasts a great laundry room with machines that worked well and cleaned our laundry sufficiently. A standout of our stay was Tia, who was incredibly nice and helpful. She shared delicious restaurant recommendations and valuable tips for things to do in the area. Even though she was fairly new to the staff, her knowledge and helpfulness were impressive. She also added a personal touch by giving our young son a little treat, which we appreciated. Beyond the excellent amenities and service, we were treated to a lovely view of the surrounding area from our RV site. The panoramic vista included stunning mountain views, making for a particularly beautiful start to the morning. The resort was not very busy during our visit, which contributed to a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.

Nice trip Nice cabin only problem was it was a bit cold at night - we could have done with some more blankets - and heater /AC was noisy The outside area was a bit tatty. Reception girls were very helpful and friendly.

Cabin was clean with new style bathroom fixtures. Picnic table and fire pit in front of the cabin. Comfortable bed.

Dirty, cobweb infested room and greedy owners To our shock the room was dirty and full of cobwebs and spider webs. The room looked like it had not been dusted in months. The surfaces were dirty and blackened our disinfectant wipes. There were dead bugs trapped inside window screens and we found a brown spider crawling around. The bed was very uncomfortable and felt like it had been extremely over used. We contacted manager about our complaints. The manager was very friendly and refunded us our first night of a 2 night stay. But after talking with the owners she said they were not able to give us a full refund even though we spent about 30 mins in the room and left after seeing the condition of it, which is extremely disappointing. If you cant keep a good standard for your guests and have them check in to a clean and sanitized room, how can you possibly gauge them for an extra night when we spent no time there as a result of your negligence? The whole experience was extremely disappointing and we ended up having to pack everything back up and pay for another hotel down the road for our stay in Escalante. Stay clear.

Simple Comfortable Stay The room was great. Comfortable and very clean. Exactly what we needed for one night after a long day of hiking. There was a slight communication issue with trying to get a hold of anyone after hours, but it all worked out and they are working to correct that.
