Mágico y romántico. Ideal si vas con tu pareja. El atardecer en las dunas, las estrellas en la noche y el amanecer son un espectáculo que no te puedes perder. Las haimas son espectaculares y el personal super amable y dispuesto. Nos sirvieron una cena riquísima y abundante y el desayuno también. La música y los tambores al lado del fuego junto con otros huéspedes fue muy agradable, Volveremos y lo recomendamos con los ojos cerrados.

Fantástico. La comida excelente, las Haimas muy bien, el personal muy atento y con ganas de facilitarnos la estancia. Buen detalle recibirnos al llegar al campamento , con botellines de agua, te caliente y galletas. Nuestra estancia fue perfecta.

We arrived at Amanar Haimas thanks to Youssef, when we booked the Adventure Route – 4 Days / 3 Nights from Marrakech to Fez – Kasbahs and desert magic with Saha Tours. Arriving at the camp was AMAZING. The camp has all the details to be perfect and to spend a relaxing stay in the desert. Mehdi and Ismael welcomed us with hot tea and some top Moroccan pastries. They were attentive to us during our stay. The tents are very large and comfortable, with a huge bed and a private bathroom with a shower with hot water. In addition, we had breakfast and dinner there and the cook is fabulous, everything was delicious and the portions were large, I recommend that you arrive at the camp hungry. The evening glued to the bonfire to warm ourselves while listening to the Berber drums was a highly recommended experience. I would definitely recommend Amanar Khaimas to everyone who plans to go to the Merzouga desert. We will return.

Nuestra experiencia en el campamento ha sido mágica. Las Haimas son muy espaciosas, las camas súper cómodas, y el baño muy amplio también. Un lujo a pie de dunas. La comida es espectacular, tanto en abundancia como en calidad. Luego de cenar salimos a fuera alrededor de un fuego mientras cantaban y tocaban los timbales. Tuvimos la suerte de no encontrar ninguna nube y poder disfrutar de un manto estrellado increíble. Es una experiencia totalmente recomendable, mágica e inigualable.

Check night temps before traveling, take cash
It was Dec so a little too cold in the desert for a comfortable sleep. They enough provided enough quilts but when the bed is cold, it is cold :-) They had warm running water, bathrooms were clean and well equipped.
They do not take credit cards so be prepared to carry cash. The owner met us in the city afterwards, we had to stand in line, withdraw money multiple times from the ATM to give him cash. He was very friendly but the process took away time from our schedule.

Youssef and his team made our 2-day stay, which is needed to experience the camp and the dessert, to an unforgettable vacation experience for our whole family. Thanks to the Desert Camp Team, we will come back next time when we are in Morocco.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From the start of the booking process to dropping us back with our tour guide, Youssef was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgable. The site is as beautiful as advertised. And the food was perhaps the very best we ate in all of Morocco! And camels, camels, camels! (actually dromedaries). The accommodation was extremely spacious, modern and comfortable while still maintaining a traditional Saharan vibe. Wish we could have stayed longer.
