Lusty BEG Island

Didn’t stay in accommodation visited for the day. Island is absolutely beautiful , staff were amazing and so kind. Came to do the clay pigeon shooting which was fantastic , our instructor was an absolute gentleman and the experience was far beyond our expectations. Loved the place so much we stayed to kayak which once again was amazing.

Reception staff brilliant so friendly Spa fantastic worth the money View amazing Now for the negative breakfast overpriced and poor quality cabins need updated for the price these should really be better kept Bar staff ignore you not great service there Activity’s overpriced

Me, my wife and daughter were here in May. The weather was fantastic as well as the beautiful scenery. Our stay was very good. My daughter enjoyed the fairy trail and the pool. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. I will be back soon. Thanks again

Just back from the best stay. I was apprehensive about booking here with some of the reviews here but these people are clearly just keyboard warriors and nit pickers. It’s fabulous here. We stayed in a double bed cabin. Was so peaceful. There’s a sink and fridge and microwave which I found brilliant as I had my 3month old baby was with us and perfect for washing and sterilising bottles. The receptionist was just lovely! We had a 3 course dinner and everything was so tasty. Music was in the bar but we only stayed for a bit due to baby. I can’t wait to return.

We stayed overnight for our friend’s wedding and would loved to have stayed longer. We had a beautiful room, it was warm in ambience, lots of space and well decorated. The man at reception was very helpful and welcoming, and the atmosphere in the bar was cosy and inviting, the manager Emre made a point of checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was great at the wedding and the bar service excellent! Would love to go back for another night soon, the location is amazing and very tranquil, when the sun shone it was a real oasis of beauty!

I lie here at 04:30 am within a box room at the Lusty Beg with environmental prompted insomnia met with the piercing green illumination of a fire light that ensured I remained awake the majority of the night. I reflect on the cost of the stay and think to myself of ways I could have spent that money on other, more enjoyable experiences. My head is banging from the over priced beer I had the evening prior and my neck strained from the hospital like robustness of the pillows my neck has suffered strain on. I am waiting for the early morning to pass to make plans to escape the island earlier than planned. I would make a small suggestion to anyone wishing to stay at the lusty beg, simply, don’t. I am not hard to please but this is shocking. Everything from service of the food to cupboard space is below mediocre . I cant believe people say “I do” at this location. It would set a fundamentally bad start to any marriage, aligning with an affair. For me, it is a 2 star Travelodge that has crash landed onto a picturesque island. Coffee cold at breakfast, porridge was like drinking a milky cough syrup and hot food overcooked. When I checked out a night earlier than planned, there was no question on why. £35.00 per night is proportionate
