Franchement, nous ne comprenons pas les avis positifs sur cet hébergement. Nous ne pouvons parler que de la chambre, car nous n'avons pas utilisé le salon. Décoration dépassée, canapé complètement affaissé, draps usés jusqu'à la trame et tous dépareillés. La salle de bains était sale, les serviettes sentaient mauvais et laissaient des poils de chien blanc sur la peau — alors que nous n'avons pas d'animal. Mauvaise odeur dans la chambre. Le prix est simplement aberrant : 235 € la nuit pour quatre personnes, un tarif digne d’un hôtel 4 étoiles, sans en offrir ne serait-ce qu’un minimum de standing ou de propreté. En deux semaines de voyage en Irlande, nous avons séjourné dans une dizaine d’établissements. Certains étaient rustiques, mais propres et accueillants. Melvin Country House est le seul endroit où nous avons eu qu'une envie : partir au plus vite.

Was a great stay! It was a charming property, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful with trip planning, and our daughter loved their two dogs!

Great place in a rural setting.
Warm greeting on arrival. Frances made us a drink and some snacks which were most welcome after a long drive. Our room is comfortable and a. Good size. The location is in a lovely rural setting.

Bathroom was grubby in corners floor obviously hadn't been scrubbed and bottom of wall of shower hadn't been cleaned in a while as an accessible bathroom was way to small. Nowhere to put clothes while shower. Very disappointing won't be going back

Hidden gem in Fermanagh
From the moment we arrived we were made most welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful views to wake up to from your bedroom window. Had a very relaxing and peaceful time. Great base for visiting the many places in Fermanagh, Cavan etc

Excellent B&B
Great welcome by Frances with tea, coffee and cake. Lovely comfortable room and great choice for breakfast. The views are lovely across to the mountains. It’s a shame we were only travelling through and stayed just one night.
