Beautiful view, peaceful location and hotel, overall perfect

Mountain view room, very warm, the balcony can see the town at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. It feels isolated from the world, less than 5 minutes drive from the Titlis Snow Mountain Cable Car, very convenient

Really good and worth recommending

Engelberg is the land of angels. Tranquility and beauty are the main features of this place. A hotel in Switzerland for more than 2,000 RMB. Don't expect many choices for breakfast. The room and bedding are clean. It's a short walk from the station and supermarket. Hiking is convenient. Overall good.

The hotel has a unique design style, very Swiss style, beautiful scenery, average breakfast and average rooms.

The room is about 7 minutes' walk from Engelberg train station. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, about 120 meters uphill. The room decoration is quite standard, neither new nor old. There is no problem with hygiene. A kettle can be provided, which is good. There is no scrambled eggs and beans for breakfast, only bread, juice, milk, etc. In short, since the town of Engelberg is too beautiful, it is undoubtedly worth staying here for one night at this price and conditions.

And there was a waiter named Thomas who welcomed us well. The accommodation has a clear, beautiful view of the city. I recommend this place. Inexpensive and worth it

I am just finishing a week's stay at the Banklialp, together with my wife, and we came here as our honeymoon. I knew Engelberg very well from my stay here as a hotel worker back in 1988, when I fell in love with the place, and I wanted to show my wife what had left such a lifelong impression on me. Hence this visit. and the Banklialp was the place I chose, with good reviews, a reasonable price and availability for our free dates. The stay here has been wonderful. The location is simply stunning, set on one side of the valley elevated above the resort, with views around the whole valley. These views can not be missed when dining here, with all restaurants looking out to the valley and mountains. We have stayed half board and the food is plentiful and prepared with some care and attention to detail. The staff, throughout the hotel are all super friendly and professional, and make you feel very welcome. As a keen skier, the hotel is about 15mins walk from both the Titlis and the Brunni lift stations. As a non skier, my wife has very much enjoyed the incredibly tranquil setting and the quiet beauty of Engelberg. Would definitely return should circumstances dictate, and highly recommend as a great place to stay to enjoy Engelberg for all it's charms.

Really beautiful hotel! Restaurant fantastic . The view, hospitality and food! I highly recommend you go! Start with a drink in the beautiful lobby. ❤️ Andvthan lunch or dinner in the restaurant! Or cheese or mest fondue in fondue restaurant!

The hotel was perfectly located, just a few minutes walk from the station to the tiltis and from the city centre. The view from the room was stunning. The room was confortable. The restaurant was amazing, we ate there the two evenings we were here and it was delicious. We were a bit disappointed by the breakfast, we would have expected better quality since the restaurant was so good. But it was ok and there was enough choice to find something that will please everybody

AMAZING service! Thanks to Leonard (who helped us with everything from feeling welcomed, answering a billion questions from us, fixed all we needed to get around, managed to compile a superb whisky sour, etc etc) we would DEFINITELY come back to exactly this hotel. Calm place, but not boring. Great view! Smooth transit to the slopes with the private shuttle.

Looking for a relaxing break in the Swiss Alos, close to the slopes, I found this little gem: a hotel, pretty rustique in the traditional Swiss way! Not far from the heart of Engelberg but far enough to contemplate the sky, see the stars and hear only the heartbeat of nature. Clean, very very clean, with comfortable rooms, not big, just comfy, most with a balcony overviewing the village. Staff, super nice and polite, ready to help and advise: had a 10% discount in my ski rental and anytime I wanted to go skiing they got in the minivan and took me to the resort! The restaurant was also nice, with delicious dishes and a savvy wine list. Not to miss! Only point I would like to note, the breakfast buffet: every day the same, not always fresh fruits available. Would like some variety and some chocolate croissants, please! Overall, a must go!

The hotel is showing its age. A modernized reception and dining room cannot disguise the fact that there is a backlog of investment. The price-performance ratio of the half-board is not correct. A canteen-like dinner for CHF 66 is clearly too expensive. The rooms could at least use a new coat of paint.
