The room was nice, good size and the bed was comfortable. There is a capsule coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is a separate menu, delicious and not expensive. The hotel is next to the Thames.

A beautifully authentic hotel full of character. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy beds. Family-friendly. And right across from the Hampton Court Palace. Highly recommended if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of London and enjoy some peace and quiet.

We had a lovely stay at the Mitre. The location is great. The room was lovely and staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast, which had a good selection of hot and cold options, with a great river view. We will definitely be back!

If you want to have a wedding where everything goes to plan in a fantastic location with highly professional staff, choose The Mitre @ Hampton Court. We held my daughters wedding there last week. Jessica Smith our events co-ordinator was efficient, experienced and unflappable in the run up to the wedding and on the day, nothing was too much trouble! In addition, Dan was our floor manager during the event, responsible for every part of the day and managing the staff looking after us.... the day went like clockwork and we had so many compliments from our guests. The hotel is steeped in history, which made our wedding feel extra special. The wedding facilities include the riverside seating area, the terrace and the orangery so plenty of space for guests to mingle or just sit and watch the river. An added bonus, the terrace is beautifully decorated with floral displays, olive trees, lights etc. An added plus, the station car park is huge and only a 4 minute walk away and inexpensive! Thank you team Mitre!

I wanted to pass on the warmest thanks from my colleagues at TBS for the wonderful experience they had at the event on 3rd July. They thoroughly enjoyed the day and commented on how beautiful the setting was, how impeccable the service felt, and how delicious the food was. There was just one small point of feedback: it would have been preferable if the vegetarian selection had been served separately, rather than plated with the meat and fish options.

Awful service overpriced food which was tasteless. Noisy clientele at least the view was good. Very disappointing as it sets out to be an up market menu but certainly did not deliver on that and did not have the full range of deserts. To add insult the service charge was added automatically.

Awful receptionist, booked a stay for 3-4 July through ******* , the hotel changed these to a random August date as they messed up their booking. When I called to talk about their error I received no apology and they offered to downgrade the room and charge more! Asked for a refund they would not give one, could not reach anybody managerial on the phone, just the same receptionist night or day who would not help or let us speak to a manager, clearly hiding her incompetence. I managed to get a full refund through ******* as they had the same issues with the receptionist as me! I will definitely never use this hotel or group again, ruined my wife and I’s planned break away.
