We are on a two week tour of Sri Lanka and having a ball. Planters Bungalow really does stand out amongst the crowd in terms of quality in every sense. Tranquil and beautiful setting, delightful staff, comfortable room including a bath tub and delicious and varied menu. We would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you Planters.

Great location. Beautiful peaceful location, surrounded by the sound of nature. Large spacious rooms & big bathrooms. Good Wi-Fi throughout with tea/coffee making facilities. Excellent food. Beautiful swimming pool. However. Be warned; the monkeys will wake you up at 6am when they jump from the trees onto the metal roofs of your room. We also had what sounded like birds & chicks nesting above our room which scratched around & made cries every night. Don’t be put off by this; I would return & recommend this place to everyone.

Planters bungalow is an amazing place away from all the noise. It is so serene and peaceful. The villas/ rooms were exceptional! So spacious and comfortable. It is not too far from the Ella waterfall and the town. The perfect gateway. We were there to celebrated my mom’s birthday and Jagath and his team was amazing. They went out of their way, over and beyond to ensure the party was a success. The weather was not on our side but basically the entire staff got together and made it happen!!!! I have never experienced such hospitality, patience and dedication…. Thank you Jagath and Team. Keep up the amazing work you do….

Beautiful garden and really nice and spacious room. View from the room was spectacular over the rolling hills. Great and friendly service, good food. A calm and nice place after doing excursions in the surrounding area. Room service was great.

Delightful stay. Beautiful boutique property close to Ravana falls and Nil diya Pokuna. We booked a family room (4 travellers) which was on first floor. View of the sunrise from the room was breath taking. Could hear atleast 6-7 types of birds chirping early morning. Exceptional service from Jagat and team.

This is by far the most luxurious place we've been to in Sri Lanka. Room was cozy and clean. We really felt like home. I would recommend this stay for anyone who wants to be faaaaar away from everything, in the middle of nature (what a view to wake up to!), with the most mindful, devoted and friendly staff you will ever encounter in Sri Lanka ♡ We will undoubtedly visit them again. Hopefully soon!

Magnifique séjour. Personnel aux petits soin. Chambre spacieuse avec une vue époustouflante. Un grand merci au cuisinier pour son plat Sri Lanka vraiment peu épicé, à la portée de mon palais d'européens. Merci nous aimerions bien revenir.

Nice rooms and a comfortable bed and nice bathroom, but expensive compared to similar places. Lovely views but one night we had prayers going on over a loud speaker nearby for 2 hours. The food was so-so, with little option to go elsewhere. Nice grounds around the hotel.
