The hotel has incredibly beautiful views, the windows overlook the cliff, the jungle, tea plantations. The breakfast is good, hearty. The staff is very responsive, always ready to help. It's cool at night, so ask for extra blankets.
The only downside is the pedestrian road to the hotel, as half of it is on concrete, the other half is on the ground, where there are leeches in the wet season, they have time to stick to you in 4 minutes of walking.
The hotel can only be reached by tuk-tuk along a narrow road, the staff kindly gave us a ride to the car on the day of our departure.
I would gladly stay at this hotel again.

Great two night stay here at the rock side inn. Fantastic view from the room and the dinner area. The staff were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast was yummy and tasty. Short walk into town. Would definitely recommend.

The main challenge is the entry road. Each time you have to spend LKR 500 while entering/coming out of the hotel. Staffs behavior was great, stunning view (if sky is clear). One more suggestion, they should change their room amenities, towels and shower staffs are of local standards. I will suggest the hotel if you are young, energetic, adventurous and obviously without kids. Otherwise it will be a challenge. Owner is an excellent behaved guy, he does his best to serve you. I suggest they should work on the entrance road. It gives a bad impression at the first look.

We verbleven hier 3 nachten. We werden warm onthaald door Manju, de eigenaar, en zijn collega’s. Alles was piekfijn in orde. We kregen een mooie kamer met een gigantisch terras met een fenomenaal uitzicht over de jungle-achtige vallei. Idem voor het restaurant. Als er één plek is in Ella waar je zeker apen zal zien is het hier. Je ziet ze een hele dag door de bomen springen en soms wandelen ze over de leuning van het terras. Het eten is hier eveneens een aanrader!

Het uitzicht is adembenemend, het lijkt alsof je in een paradijs zit. De kamer was netjes, met een groot terras met uitzicht op de bergen. En de aapjes zien rondspringen maakt het alleen nog leuker om naar te kijken. 🐵 De mensen zijn super vriendelijk en de bediening is top! Het eten is ook heel lekker, de chicken fried rice is zeker een aanrader☺️ Ook is het goed gelegen, het stadje is vlakbij voor ‘s avonds op restaurant te gaan. Er zijn ook verschillende activiteiten in de buurt, zoals Little Adams Peak, Ella Rock, Nine Arches Bridge… En veel meer!🤩 Niet twijfelen, boeken die handel!!🌺

I stayed for a week as a solo traveller. Breathtaking views from all the rooms and restaurant. Staff amazingly helpful. Very comfy bed! I stayed for a week and the breakfast was different every day. A tuktuk transfer from station was good too.

The hotel is located on the rock side, and cars cannot access the property directly. However, the hotel provides a tuk-tuk service for transfers between the main road and the accommodation. The room rates are quite reasonable. The staff are friendly, attentive, and provide excellent service. The dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was well-prepared and enjoyable. Overall, everything was great!
