We had a nice stay at this hotel. The location is great, the breakfast is good and the staff are very friendly. The only drawback is that it is very noisy in the hotel, so you can hear the neighbors showering and you wake up early in the morning.

Ho prenotato due notti con mio marito. L'hotel è molto bello. Il personale gentilissimo come tutti qui in Sri Lanka. Il cibo a colazione molto vario e buono. Così come a cena tutto self service. Qui abbiamo trovato il caffè espresso italiano..buonissimo.l La stanza pulita.. Letto comodo ed enorme! Anche se io ogni mattina mi son svegliata con dei pizzichi nuovi.. L'unica pecca è che la notte c'erano molti rumori fuori, magari se le finestre fossero state insonorizzate sarebbe stato meglio.

Mrs. Vijaya who had cleaned our room the first day of our staying, had made elephants and swans out of towels. Such a sweet gesture. Rooms are clean and big, energy of the hotel is nice. Staff is very helpful and nice as well. The only thing we really missed is a fridge.

A well situated hotel and less than a minute’s walk to Ella’s main area. The hotel was very clean and had a good choice of food in the restaurant. We had an issue with no hot water though during our one night stay and it wasn’t resolved until next morning, which was a pity as this is a good hotel if your looking to visit Ella

Wonderful Hotel in Ella. We Enjoy Our Days in Ella Gap Hotel & it's be a very Interesting Vacation. The Manager & all staff are Very Kind & Very Friendly. Foods are very Tasty & Good. This is a nice hotel, set in the main area in Ella. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance which was great for us. Check in was smooth, we had a massive double room - more room than needed and it was very sparse, a room that size needs much more furniture. There is a good size terrace which overlooked the main road, not much noise from the street which was great. The room is otherwise basic but we didn't need more as we didn't spend too much time in our room. It was good enough for one night. Large bathroom, basic toiletries. everything was clean. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The restaurant is just next door to the hotel, this is where b/fast and dinner is served. We were half board so had both. Of all of our hotels, this one had the most limited offering, although there was something for veg/non-veg. Didn't feel a fresh as other hotels. There is an ala cart menu and some people were ordering (I don't think they were hotel guests). Breakfast was ok, fresh fruit, eggs etc but no fresh stations. Just a smaller food set up. It was fine for us for one dinner and one breakfast. There are many alternative options mins away. No complaints here, I'd go elsewhere for food if you have time. We enjoyed being able to walk through the town shops. great location, and this is a very good option

Overall Ella Gap hotel is a great hotel with a great location. Thank you Vijaya, for keeping the rooms clean and tidy, and going the extra mile of making towel crabs on our single beds! We would come back to stay here. Many options for breakfast.

Incuriositi dal forno a legna, abbiamo deciso di assaggiare la pizza, sebbene con qualche remora... rimanendo piacevolmente stupiti! La pizza è buona, viene cucinata con più mozzarella di quanto siamo abituati in Italia, ma sebbene gli abbinamenti non siano per noi usuali il risultato è interessante. Il servizio di Nalaka è stato impeccabile, professionale e amichevole senza essere mai invadente.
