Blue Jasmine Hotel

Once again our stay has been nothing short of exceptional. This hotel really feels like you get villa luxury with the bonus of wonderful staff who can not do enough for you. Breakfast is wonderful as you are able to order from the menu (included) or self serve from their recently renovated bar area. The rooms are spacious with balconies covered in fresh trailing flowers. The view is nothing short of sensational - we often wonder if we should tell people about this wonderful place or gate keep it so it doesn’t get too busy. A truly wonderful bolt hole which we can’t help but return to. We never thought we would be the type of traveller to return time and time Again but this place really is perfect! They can’t do enough for children and even helped to organise the most wonderful 40th birthday celebration for me and my extended group this year.

We visit this hotel every year, it is truly fabulous. Great vibe, lovely staff, beautiful setting, it’s simply perfect.

We stayed here for 11 days returning a few days ago. The hotel is a fair way out of town but no problem for us as we had a car for the whole time. We stayed in the Mellisinni Lake suite which was absolutely lovely. We had a lounge area, kitchenette with a full size fridge, a bedroom and a huge balcony with a jacuzzi. The view was stunning, the best we have ever had. The sea, the mountains and Old Skala port. I loved swaying in the egg chair and just listening to the sound of the sea. Perfect. Room was kept clean and towels changed daily. Pool area was gorgeous with none of the dreaded saving of sunbeds. There is a lovely gazebo to sit in if you want the shade. Breakfast is also very good with hot food made to order. All the staff we encountered from the cleaner to the gardener/ groundsman were absolutely lovely. We loved it so much we have already booked to go back next year. Highly recommended.

A hotel set on a cliff top on the outskirts of Skarla. So friendly a quiet hotel is an escape from it all place to be. Only twelve rooms so it’s never loud or over crowded. A very nice welcome and all staff are so friendly. Bar open all day food of a good standard although a bit slow but not to grumble. I must mention the cleaning lady who does the best job I’ve ever seen, room immaculate everyday she visits I hope they pay her well! Breakfast is a good standard you order your hot food and coffee from barman and help yourself to the usual breakfast bits in back room. Gardens around blue Jasmin make the place look so picturesque great job. It was so hot when we visited we had to get a taxi to town everyday €7. Lots of little coves to swim nearby checkout the Porto Skarla for the sunrise pic amazing!!! All in all highly recommended if your happy to stay in outskirts for a chilled out holiday unless you need internet for work it’s dreadful also phone signal is poor so barman will book your taxi to town. Beautiful hotel just out of town on the headland so sea views on two sides. Small and quiet but a short walk to two nearby restaurants or an easy short drive into town. Staff delightful. Pool very clean and lovely. Rooms cool and lovely towels / dressing gowns etc. Sunbeds plentiful and comfy. Peaceful.
