Restaurant dans un cadre magnifique; nous avons très bien mangé ( plats très frais et raffinés). L’accueil par Maryama a été très chaleureux et nous a donné l’envie de revenir pour cette fois y dormir car l’hôtel que nous avons pu visiter est superbe, decoré avec gout et mettant en valeur cet ancien bâtiment et église.

Nous aurions tant aimé rejoindre l'Iglesia dont les notes et avis sur ce site étaient encourageantes .... Déboussolés par la circulation aux alentours de la cité portugaise, nous avons appelé l'Iglesia pour savoir comment rejoindre l'établissement. La réponse très peu engageante nous a totalement dissuadé. Nous devions passer par une porte, point à la ligne.... Sans plus de précisions , et sans aucun intérêt quelconque quant à notre souhait de venir passer au restaurant, nous avons laissé tomber notre projet.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at L'lglesia. The hotel is spacious, elegant and comfortable. The buildings are beautiful and interesting. Our room was huge with all the amenities you need. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night at the end of a 2 week Moroccan adventure. Our room was lovely and spacious. We were given a room in the main building where the restaurant is located. It was comfortable and quiet. We did go and look in the old church building - which was very lovely. I can't comment on the rooms in that part of the hotel, but it looked very nice. It was nice to stay in the old town area. Breakfast was delicious, but we didn't eat dinner there so can't comment.

When they say ‘quaint’ and ‘charming’ what they mean is old and decrepit. Our room was in the old church part which overlooks a refuse laden carpark. No aircon, just a fan and a weird assortment of old and dirty furniture. Breakfast basic. We found the while experience just odd and unpleasant. The historic ramparts that this hotel is close too are nothing special - there are better ones in Essaouria and Tangier.

Nous ne savions pas que l'hôtel dispose d'un parking privé à l'intérieur des remparts de la cité portugaise. Du coup, nous avons cherché longtemps une place de stationnement à l'extérieur de la Cité portugaise, puis avons du transporter nos valises jusqu'à l’hôtel. Nous étions logés à la Commanderie à 100m. C'est un très beau bâtiment, très aéré, avec de belles vues sur la mer et les remparts, et nous avons adoré. La décoration et la propreté sont parfaites. Le petit-déjeuner se prend dans une salle au rez-de-chaussée. C'est parfait et très agréable.

Ficámos no edifício do antigo consulado americano, que está muito bem recuperado. A decoração é muito gira e bem pensada. Na primeira noite, tivemos a sensação de sermos os únicos hóspedes no hotel, mas na segunda noite já havia mais movimento. Almoçámos e jantámos no restaurante do hotel. A comida é boa mas a ementa sempre igual, pelo que quem faz várias refeições tem poucas opções de escolha. Os empregados foram muito atenciosos. O estacionamento gratuito mesmo em frente ao hotel é muito conveniente, mas fica a dúvida quanto à segurança durante a noite pois é em plena rua e não parece haver qualquer controlo.

Avons dormi dans la capitainerie, ancien ambassade US transformé en hôtel. Accueil sympathique et prévenant. Facilité de parcage si vous y accédez en voiture. Les chambres sont dans leur jus. Meubles anciens, parquet grinçant. Chambre propre mais sans fioriture. Peut-être bruyant si très occupé. Terrasse un peu triste. Nous y avons mangé le soir, un bon repas. Attention prix relativement élevé pour le Maroc. Petit déjeuner simple mais suffisant.
