Die Besitzer sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie sprechen gutes Englisch und es macht Spaß mit ihnen zu plaudern. Die lange ist sehr schön und ruhig. Man muss aber beachten, dass man das Flussrauschen sehr deutlich hört. In unserem Fall fanden wir das beruhigend.Die Zimmer sind hübsch und auch das Essen wird schön angerichtet. Sie achten auf viele Details was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich angenehm macht. Es ist das Geld definitiv wert!

Das Hotel ist ein Kleinod. Lage (direkt am / über dem Fluss), Ausstattung (Klimanlage, offene Terasse), Service (sehr aufmerksam und freundlich), Sauberkeit (Topp). Kurzum: Einfach traumhaft und die Inhaberin Marga rund um die Uhr vor Ort, immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam.

Hotel Luna del Rio is the best place to stay in El Castillo. Marga and her lovely family and staff will welcome you with open arms, and they go out of their way to meet your every wish. The small hotel has a lovely location right on the river, very central to the small pueblo. Rooms are spotless, breakfasts are delicious, and they will set you up for all the tours and transport you need. Our four days in El Castillo and on the Rio San Juan were fun and fascinating.

A beatifull small hotel on the river. It is very clean and a great atmosphere! Everybody was so friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast was prepared. We loved our stay here and unfortunately it was only for one night! We will be back for sure! If you want a great stay in Rl castillo , this is the place to be!!

Die Lage direkt am Fluss ist phantastisch. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon direkt neben den Stromschnellen. Das Zimmer hat eine Klimaanlage, auch das heiße Wasser funktionierte immer. Am besten gefallen hat uns die freundliche Art von Margarita, sie spricht hervorragend Englisch und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Sie hat sogar ihr privates WLAN mit uns geteilt. Wir konnten direkt bei ihr zwei tolle Touren buchen und sie hat auch unsere Weiterfahrt nach San Carlos und nach Granada organisiert. Vielen herzlichen Dank dafür!

From the moment we arrived at the small port to our departure we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome.Margarita and her husband Manuel could not have done more for us. The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable and the balcony a haven to sit and watch the river and bird life. Breakfast and dinner were provided and even a lengthy power cut were dealt with as they have a generator. The trips we took were memorable and arranged with quiet efficiency. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in your wonderfully unspoilt special place in Nicaragua

Beautiful rooms, fabulous host, delicious and plentiful breakfast. Marga connected us with an incredible adventure on the Indio Maiz reserve with Camping Tours Indio Maiz that was next level for birds, wildlife, plants and cultural experiences.
