We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a group. Steven and staff made sure our stay was fabulous, food incredible and so much! Our guides Solomon and Simon went above and beyond on our safari's. Cannot speak highly enough of them all.

I decided to extend a business trip to South Africa for a few days and looked for short safari trips. By chance I found this place. Don’t make it an accident for you. The place is lovely, the people are fantastic and the service is great. What about the safari you may ask? Well, that was fantastic. I was extremely lucky and saw many of the animals that I wanted to see in their habitat. The ranger Solomon, who guided me while I was there had fantastic eyesight and knows the land extremely well, very knowledgeable and I know he doesn’t control it but he certainly can guide you to a fantastic sunset

This was a trip of a lifetime through Southern Africa. The highlight was staying at Shishangeni Lodge inside Kruger National Park in South Africa. The accommodations, food, safaris, activities, and people were amazing. Our safari guide was wonderful! We even saw a large leopard on our final night excursion. There is an indoor shower set up, however, why would you when elephants show up just 15-20 feet away just on the other side of the fencing! Do not hesitate to go here!

We had one wonderful 24h-stay in camp Shawu. Sifiso - our driver - gave us a lot of knowledge about wildlife and the staff in the camp was so kindly. Unfortunately, there were no further cars out in the game, so Sifiso had not as much information about sightings as he could have. But I'll come back!

The cabin in the wild with the private outdoor shower and luxurious indoor tub was a complete treat! The bed was fabulous, the room/bathroom were large and the overall experience was amazing. The meals and staff service provided in the Lodge were top-notch. From 5am wake up calls to two/day expert guided safaris (complete with shacks/drinks), we couldn't have asked for more! Kudos to Herold (guide) and the whole staff at Shishangeni! We loved being there.

Muy lindo hotel, tenes a los animales muy cerca de predio, la gente super amable y servicial, las habitaciones son lo mejor, tiene una ducha externa que recomiendo usarla de noche con la luz de la luna y las montañas de Mozambique de fondo, sin duda recomiendo. Lo unico que falta es que la señal de internet llegue a las habitaciones

The Camp is Isolated with 180 degree views of the dam, teeming with game. We were welcomed by 2 herds of elephant and a multitude of hippos at the dam in front of the lodge. The safaris were fantastic - we never saw another game vehicle on any of the game drives! One evening, we followed a pride of lions stalking of a herd of impala, then we held back, not wanting to disturb the kill. Moments later we saw them enjoying the spoils of their prey! An ideal getaway in southern Kruger Park.
