Lukimbi Safari Lodge

Well run lodge, with enthusiastic, kind, welcoming and efficient staff. Our cottage consisted of bedroom, huge bathroom, and lounge; outdoor shower and plunge pool overlooking a stream and clearing, making armchair game viewing easy. Our guide Marcel was most informative and he was ably assisted by tracker Hector who could even spot a chameleon for us. The food was excellent both in presentation and quality. The decor could have done with a bit of a tart up but it appears that the Kruger Park is dragging its heels in finalising the concession.

When it was time to leave Lukimbi we did not want to go. We were worried anyplace else would be disappointing. Lukimbi checks all the boxes for a luxury safari experience

We went to Lukimbi for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! Everyone there were so friendly and they were just amazing to us both and really couldn't do enough for us! Conneth and Sipho (our ranger and tracker) were such a good pair the knowledge they both have combined is incredible, we saw 4 of the big 5 thanks to there brilliant tracking skills. The lodge speaks for itself really, its even prettier in person which may be hard to believe. The food was delicious and we had different choices everyday, I can't say it was the highlight of the holiday because obviously the animals... buts its up there. P.S you have to try one of Benjamín's Mango Daiquiris

Our stay at Lukimbi Safari Lodge was absolutely incredible, truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The staff went above and beyond in every way, making us feel completely cared for and at home. The lodge itself is stunning! It’s beautifully designed, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. Our room was spacious, luxurious, and full of thoughtful touches, with amazing views of the bush and the wildlife passing by. We even saw an elephant while having cocktails in the pool and George the hippo hung about during the day. The game drives were beyond anything we could have imagined. Our ranger and tracker were exceptional, thanks Marcel and Hector. They were so knowledgeable and passionate and they made sure every drive was different and memorable. We saw everything (except that darn elusive leopard) that we’d hoped for and more, all while learning so much about the animals and their environment. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented every time. Every meal felt special. What makes Lukimbi truly shine, though, is the people. Every single team member radiates warmth and pride in what they do, and that energy creates something really special. We left feeling deeply grateful and full of unforgettable memories. We stayed at Lukimbi Safari Lodge with our ten year old son for 4 nights and the stay was unbelievable. The tour guides were extremely knowledgable, friendly and we went on two driving game drives a day which were spectacular. The lodge was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in everyway. The service was exceptional in everyway. I cannot recommend staying at Lukimbi Safari Lodge, it helped make it the trip of a lifetime for my family and I.
